One of my favourite bars in Cologne! Not only a wide range of excellent cocktails but also outstandingly friendly, polite and knowledgeable staff.

Every time I visit GG I truly enjoy the chill yet sophisticated atmosphere. I also celebrated this years’ carnival at GG and absolutely loved it. They managed to create and keep a welcoming and fun vibe throughout the whole evening and I’m already looking forward to next year!

Das Ambiente ist unverändert sehr ansprechend und angenehm. Leider ist man dort sehr eingeschränkt, was die Drinks angeht. Wir waren zu einer privaten Veranstaltung dort und es gab nur eine kleine Auswahl an Getränken - Cocktails leider keine so wirklich. Auf meine Frage nach Wildberry Lillet, wurde ich auf "andere Spritzgetränke" von der Karte verwiesen. Wie kann man DEN aktuellen Trenddrink nicht haben? Wenn ich einen Scotch bestelle, bietet man ja auch keinen Bourbon an - sowas geht gar nicht. Dann bat ich um einen "x*x on the beach" - ein absoluter Standardcocktail. Nicht möglich. Bei so wenig Flexibilität kann ich leider nicht mehr als drei Sterne geben. Schade, ich hatte mehr erwartet.

Update: nach der Antwort vom Betreiber leider einen weiteren Stern weniger. Wie gesagt, absolut unflexibel. Auch, wenn die Getränke mit dem Veranstalter abgesprochen waren, hätte man mir eine Cocktailkarte geben können, nachdem ZWEI Getränkewünsche nicht erfüllbar waren und auf der kleinen Karte absolut nichts für mich dabei war. Ich war ja schon froh, am Ende einen Standardsoftdrink bekommen zu haben. Aber dafür gibt es halt keinen Orden - abgesehen davon, dass das Servicepersonal ziemlich abwertend in der Reaktion war und von dem Versuch im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten auf Sonderwünsche einzugehen, war nichts zu merken. Da scheinen die Möglichkeiten tatsächlich etwas sehr begrenzt zu sein. Ich gehe nicht davon aus, dass ihr mich zurückgewinnen könnt - gehe aber auch nicht davon aus, dass das überhaupt...
