The restaurant, located in the main square of Rodenkirchen, offered a delightful dining experience. We ordered the Pizza Margherita, Pizza Italia, and Caesar salad. All the dishes were delicious, made with fresh ingredients. We also enjoyed some beer, which was quite good. The staff were courteous, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time there with my friends.

Ich habe mich mit meiner Freundin hier getroffen, weil wir gemeinsam zu Mittag essen wollten. Es wurden zwei Mittagsmenü (Vorspeise, Hauptspeise) zu je 14,90€ angeboten. Ich entschied mich für das Menü mit der Vorspeise Champion-Ciabatta, wobei es sich nach einer halben Stunde Wartezeit, um eine halbe Scheibe Weißbrot handelte, welche mit ein paar Tomaten und gebratenen Champignonscheiben belegt war. Geschmacklich war es Ordnung. Meine Freundin hatte sich eine heiße Schokolade mit Sahne bestellt. Als sie die Bedienung darauf aufmerksam machte, dass die sowieso schon kleine Tasse nur halb voll sei, wurde der Kellner ziemlich pampig. Als Hauptspeise hatte ich ein Fischfilet mit Salzkartoffeln, wobei man hier das Salz sehr wörtlich genommen hatte, und Zucchinigemüse. Die Portion war sehr übersichtlich und sehr stark gesalzen. Meine Freundin hatte Pasta al Arrabiata für 13,90€ eine übersichtliche Portion. Ich habe zum Abschluss einen Espresso Doppio bestellt, der zwar in einer großen Tasse serviert wurde, aber nur die Menge eines einfachen Espresso enthielt und stolze 4,10€ kostete.

Vorab gesagt - das Eis ist sehr lecker! Es gibt eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Sorten und im Sommer kann man diese auf der Terrasse am Maternusplatz herrlich genießen. Montag bis Samstag von 9.00 bis 12.00 Uhr und an Sonn- und Feiertagen von 10.00 bis 14.00 Uhr wird Frühstück serviert. Hier kann man z.B. zwischen einem "Vitalem Frühstück", einem "Deutschen Frühstück" oder einem "Lachs Frühstück" wählen. Dazu gibt es zahlreiche Eier-Variationen (Rührei, Omelette, Spiegelei, ...) sowie Müsli, Obst und Joghurt. Es gibt natürlich auch Pizza, die ebenfalls empfehlenswert ist. Ca. 20 verschiedene Variationen werden angeboten, der Preis ist OK. Alle Pizzen gibt es auch zum Mitnehmen. Leider ist der Service etwas langsam und man muss schon auf sich aufmerksam machen, um beachtet zu werden.Hier könnte besonders im Sommer mehr Personal vorhanden sein.

We came across this Italian Place in Rodenkirchen accidently as we looked for a cozy shelter for some nice cups of Coffee. Surely we checked it up first before we entered it and decided to spend the Tea Time three thus some critical reviews.

As soon as the friendly male waiter greeted us we ordered Cappuccino, Eraclea Hot Choclate, Nutella Crepe and Tiramisu. The order came without long wait and well served/decorated, esp. the Tiramisu in glass. Little did I know it was quite common at the Gourmet Italian Place to serve Tiramisu that way due to its look. But the most important thing is surely the taste, rite? My BF was impressed! I love the Nutella Crepe as well and nothing could go wrong with my Eraclea. :)

This medium size venue which is modern furnished was packed on that Saturday Noon but the luck was on our site as we found one free table by the Dessert Bar. If only they could have much wider Table due to their nice but big Plates, would be so much cozier to...

The restaurant is really beautiful, BUT the servers are terrible. I made a reservation online for four people. They didn't even have our table, improvise on the spot - ok, no problem. When they bring us the drinks, they spill the whole glass of whine on our friend, and they just stand there don't even know what to do......The agony whas not over in that point, they was constantly forgiving what they need to bring to us....They said sorry for the spilled drinks, but guys, you need to offer us at least free drinks on the house, the adult man was completely wet because of you! I mean, zero hospitality from...

We waited for 20 minutes in the line for a table. The waiters were quite rude, didn't speak very kindly, clearly they noticed me and my girlfriend standing infront of the main entrance. But didn't seem to worry about giving us a seat. They were quite full on that day, but there were still a few tables free, yet they just walked by us and made us feel like outcasts. I would give this restaurant 1 star but I'm sure the food is good enough to save the review. In the end we decided to grab a coffee next door. They were much nicer and actually care about...
