The Curry Spoon — Restaurant in Cologne

Firstly, the restaurant is new. They have not finished setting up everything. You may feel difficulty in finding this restaurant, it’s with Pizza cento (no special entrance - need to enter from the pizza cento entrance ) near the Uni center. They didnot have any special board sign to spot the restaurant yet. There is no Menu card yet as they have recently started. The restaurant person told they are arranging everything and they have written the dishes available on a black board at the pizza cento entrance.

The food here is far better than an Indian restaurant I visited in Vitalisstrasse :D

We have ordered: Chicken 65 with Naan, Kadai paneer with Rice.

Chicken 65 is average. I didnot like the tomatoes dominating the taste of chicken. I have suggested them too and they kindly offered that they will change the dish but we didnot agree to do so as the cook is new and he started cooking.

They also didnot charge us for Cola at the end.

Kadai Paneer is okay - I have a neutral feeling about this.

Naan - I felt they didnot serve us Naan but Focaccia (flat pizza bread).

We ordered Butter Chicken (right side) and Homemade Lamb Curry (left side), along with Mango Lassi and Garlic Naan. Everything was absolutely amazing – the taste of the food was perfect! The portions were so generous that we even had to take half of it home. The service was super friendly as well.❤️

Wir waren vor Ort mit Neotaste Gutschein da. Sehr leckeres Essen sowie freundliche Bedienung und schönes Ambiente, obwohl es vielleicht von außen nicht so einladend aussieht. Ich empfehle euch, vor Ort zu essen, ignoriert die schlechten Rezensionen von Menschen, die es vom Lieferdienst haben. Die Erfahrung vor Ort war definitiv nicht so. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und das Essen war auch genug, ich wurde satt davon. Der Mango Lassi und Butter Chicken ist echt zu empfehlen, sehr lecker. Die Preise sind recht hoch ja, aber das Essen war auch lecker und das Fleisch hochwertig. Leute, für lange Lieferzeiten kann das Restaurant auch nichts, wenn es über Uber, Wolt etc abgewickelt ist und dass die Flyer im Briefkasten waren, hat nichts mit der Erfahrung im Restaurant zu tun, das hat hier nichts zu suchen. Restaurants sind enorm von Rezensionen abhängig heutzutage und das ist einfach nur unverschämt und typisch deutsch wegen sowas hier...
