Zoo — Restaurant in Darmstadt-Mitte

Complaint.

So guys I usually don't do this but here some experience sharing from Saturday. I met a friend for coffee it was 15h30 and we sat at Zoo in Darmstadt, 2nd place we were trying as the first one's kitchen was closed between 15h and 18h. We chose to stay still. We order, same message in that place. Here is a thing : I was coming from sport, hadn't had lunch and am breastfeeding. In short I was starving 😁 When i asked her, the waitress advised we shouldn't eat but advised the kitchen was closed and suggested the cheese cake which I ordered with a coffee. My friend saw me and offered to go get me a sandwich from the baker next door which I found was a great idea. I fed my baby then ate the sandwich discreetly but not hiding it. Here came a 2nd waiter advising me that his colleague already told me consuming other goods in the restaurant was not wished. To which I apologized and explained I was starving, breastfeeding and the cheese cake was just not enough and the kitchen was closed. Then by the time we paid the bill came a 3rd waitress who again came back to this point and advised that this was not ok and that breastfeeding was not the argument here. I explained again and at this point my German friend intervened and confirmed no alternative had been offered to me but the damned cake 😊. And yet that 3rd waitress kept insisting and insusting this was not okay and breastfeeding should not be considered as an argument. A cozy wine bar. Walk in here and you'll be confronted with the heady smell is great cheeses in a warm, comfortable atmosphere. A few hours here to by quickly. The service is attentive and full of good humour. Ich lasse nicht sehr einfach negative Bewertungen, aber ich bin sehr enttäuscht. Die Lage ist sehr schön aber das ist das einzigste positive ,dass ich nennen kann. Die Cocktails, die wir bestellt haben waren nicht gut, da wir nur sehr wenig alcohol und mehr wasser- Eis drinn. Für 8 euro würde ich gerne etwas stärkeres als ein "Mojito" mit wenig alcohol und viel zu viel Eis und Limette, trinken. Zusätzlich war das Personal sehr unfreundlich. Es würde mir mein Rückgeld nicht gegeben und als ich drinnen im Laden gegangen bin, um die Kellnerin zu informieren( vielleicht hat sie nen Fehler gemacht, ist auch menschlich) hat sie einfach gesagt "dass sie dachte, es wäre Trinkgeld", obwohl ich niemals so was sagte. Einfach das Geld von dem Kunden nehmen und gehen, geht keiner Meinung nicht, und da ich auch in dem Feld arbeite würde ich so was niemals machen. Ich gebe sehr gerne Trinkgeld, wenn ich auch mit dem Service usw zufrieden bin. Toiletten waren auch nicht sauber. Also ich wurde gern nochmals kommen, da ich die Lage einfach super finde, mache ich aber nicht wegen des Personals und der Qualität...
