CAFE FLOH — Restaurant in Deggendorf

2024 The last few years we've become regulars at Cafe Floh and considered it the best breakfast in Deggendorf town. With the recent change in menu however not only the menu but also service has deteriorated hence the update/downgrade of our review e.g. only one breakfast set menu remained, our family enjoyed the previous choice and not only dined in but also used the pick-up service, sunshades are opened in the morning without consulting guests with the result of every guest but one (sunglasses) covering their eyes when talking to each other, the new set menu is over dimensioned in fresh fruits (which we love) but falls short on other items, not to speak of the veggies wasted..., the new service member has much to learn improving efficiency not running empty half the time causing unnecessary delays...

2023 Best breakfast in and around the city of Deggendorf no doubt, and we‘ve tried them almost all...

Waiter spent hours talking to a couple of guests in a table and people in the other table had to call him to pay the bills instead of him having an eye over three other tables (including the place I was sitting. And not crowded at all). I went to the bar and paid my bill to a gentleman working in the bar. The waiter noticed I wanted to pay and ignored to continue the conversation to the guests in the table that he started more than an hour ago (not overestimating the time he spent talking to guests in a table). Nice Café and decent food. 1 star for the behaviour...

Wir ware im Januar 2023 mittags zum letzten mal essen. 5/5 oder 100/100 Punkte.

Die verschiedenen Bowls waren extrem lecker, die weibliche Bedienung sehr nett und zuvorkommend und der Chef persönlich anwesend. A bisserl teuer - knapp 45€ für zwei Gerichte mit Getränken - wenn's passt dann zahlt man das gerne. Das Lokal war bis auf den letzten Platz belegt.

Heute waren wir wieder drin und vergeben 0/5 oder 0/100 Punkte. Kein Mensch/Gast im Lokal. Wir hatten extra reserviert - kein Hinweis für eine durchgeführte Reservierung. Wir wollten eine extrem leckere Bowl genießen - es gibt mittags keine Bowls mehr wurde uns von der männlichen Bedienung gesagt nur noch die 3/10er Gerichte.

Das Gericht #2 gebackener "Camenbert" mit Preiselbeeren war um 12:00 Uhr schon nicht mehr verfügbar - dabei wäre ich schon gespannt auf die besondere Käseart mit "n" statt mit "m" gewesen.

Alternativ gab's Bratwürstl mit Sauerkraut oder Chickenburger mit Pommes. Gerichte die ich in jeder Frittenbude oder Fastfood Kette bekommen könnte.

Die männliche Bedienung machte sich nicht einmal die Mühe die beiden Gerichte näher zu beschreiben oder anzupreisen. Die Kreidetafel war von unserem Platz nicht einmal vollständig lesbar. Grundsätzlich wird die Tafel an den Tisch gebracht und näher beschrieben/erläutert. Man hatte heute offensichtlich keine Lust auf Umsatz.

Wir sind dann aufgestanden und gegangen weil es nichts zum Essen gab. Das ist uns definitiv noch nie passiert, daß wir wirklich nichts gefunden haben.

Unglaublich wie schnell man ein Konzept abseits des Mainstreams innerhalb von fünf Wochen an die Wand fahren kann.

Wir werden mittags dieses Lokal nie...
