Maharadscha — Restaurant in Dresden

Great place to have authentic Indian food in Dresden! The food is tasty, the service is polite and attentive, the restaurant is nicely decorated inside and the prices are very reasonable. We have ordered 3 dishes - Murgh Madras (chicken cooked madras way), Murgh Jhalferezi (chicken with vegetables and ginger) and Mitton Jhackni (lamb in yoghurt sauce with almonds and raisins). All dishes were quickly served and we have really enjoyed all of them. Rice was well cooked (not sticky and not overcooked) and Bhatura (fried Naan bun) that we have received together with the dishes tasted great and seemed fresh. In addition to the dishes we have also received Papadam breads as an appetizer and mango Schnaps at the end (all included in the price of the dishes) what made the experience even better. I have been going to this place regularly for the past 8 years. It never disappoints. I was there yesterday with 13 work colleagues and they were super impressed by the food and service. I have also hosted multiple work and leisure events at Maharadscha with around 15 people each time. In 2019, Maharadscha also catered a buffet for me at a different location for 40 people. It was a hit. The best part is that the foot suits all palates. They adjust the food according to your spice tolerance level. If you're a food lover and want to taste great Indian Authentic food in Germany then Maharaja is the only place. There are Cooks from India as well as from Pakistan. Ambience is real good. All furniture they brought from various places of India. If you are accompanied by German friends then please ask them to make less spicy.

Service gets bit slow when it is crowded but if you really wish to have good tasty food keep patience.
