We really enjoyed our time here! I came to have a few drinks with friends and the vibes were genuinely immaculate.

The music is authentic and groovy, putting everyone in the room in a very good mood, so much so that some customers started singing along, which was so nice to see!

The drinks were also pretty fantastic, especially the daiquiri and the latin lover. I think it’s also really important to note that they can be more or less strong depending on preference, and that this can be inferred from the menu itself (usually, drinks with only one type of alcohol are lighter, and those with multiple alcohol types are a bit stronger).

We also ordered tortilla chips with queso and guacamole to munch on, but the owner was so nice that he brought some extra salsa as well. I fully recommend this place for everything, from the atmosphere, to the service, to the drinks! I bet the food from the restaurant is also exquisite and I’ll definitely want to try some when I come...

Ein Stern ist eigentlich schon zu viel. Vllt lag es daran, dass Montag war und die Gastronomie der Neustadt da ohnehin nur auf Sparflamme läuft, aber auch unter diesen Umständen war es ein totaler Reinfall. Die Wartezeit von 15 min für die Karte war schon fast ein Grund wieder zu gehen. Der Kellner schien allein gewesen zu sein und hatte während wir da da waren nur 6 Tische mit je 2 Personen zu bewirten und eine Seelenruhe dabei. Es schien für ihn ganz normal zu sein, nach 30 min überhaupt das erste Getränk an den Tisch zu bringen. Zu Essen bestellte ich ein Steak mit Reis, Manjok, Kochbananen und Süßkartoffeln und bekommen habe ich ein Steak mit Bratkartoffeln. Als ich nachfragte ob da was verwechselt wurde hieß es unter Belächeln: "Naja der Reis war alle und darum hab ich einfach Bratkartoffeln dazu gemacht". Und was ist mit dem Manjok, der Kochbanane und den Süßkartoffeln? Schweigen, überlegen und abwägen vom Kellner - "Naja gut ich kann ja noch was machen..." Wenn also eine Beilage fehlt werden alle weggelassen und stattdessen einfach die für Cuba wirklich untypischen Bratkartoffeln gemacht. Es ist schlimm, dass ohne zu fragen ausgetauscht wird, sich nicht entschuldigt wird, man um seine Beilagen verhandeln muss und nicht mal Nachlass bekommt. Der (nötige) Pfefferstreuer auf dem Tisch war leer und wurde trotz Bescheid sagen nicht aufgefüllt oder zumindest ein voller vom Nachbartisch gereicht. Auf der Herrentoilette werden alte Pappkartons gelagert und das Warmwasser ist abgedreht.

Meine Begleitung meint es wäre sonst nicht so schlecht dort, aber ich habe genug gesehen um das nicht mehr rausfinden...

Awesome atmosphere with that Caribbean touch. One of the best places go out with your friends or family and anjoy a cold beer or appreciate a nice cocktail. Are you hungry? No problem. They have snacks and cuban food to go along with the drinks. If you want to listen to live latam music and have good time? Don't waste time and try it...
