Asia Zushi Grill — Restaurant in Essen

Hello, I am Nilesh Tambe. I was with my wife and daughter for Buffet lunch in your restaurant. I was treated very badly with your waiter. These are the following things what happen.

1. I felt humiliated by your waiter. I was on table 6 and having my lunch there. I had not finished my lunch and I took a bottle of water to drink. Your waiter tells me that I have to finish the water or I have to pay 5 euro. I have noy finished yet and why it was told only to me and my wife and not others ?. We know we have to finish whatever we take but If it is already written in menu why did you waiter said to us? We had not finished are foods so what sense it makes to finish water before food.
2. Before I finished my lunch your waiter us pulling the plate away. I can said to her I didn't finish. Is this the way you treat customer.
3. my daughter got hit by the trolley you waiter didn't say sorry.
4. I consider this as a racist act. Because we are Indian. It is shame that your waiter treat people like this. She also said that "it is ok if we dont come". I told your other staff to call the manager but they said there is No Manager.

You get more than expected at this place, for only €24 this buffet is super cheap for the quality and amount of food you get. I have never been to an all you can eat buffet with so much variety and quality of food. In that price not only all the drinks are all you can drink, also unlimited wine and 2 Large beers per person. The sushi was at really good quality and taste for an all you can eat restaurant. (And im a sushi lover). They have live cooking which is amazing, you can choose all the ingredients yourself, they will cook it for you and bring it to your table. Everything was fresh. The chocolate fountain tops it all off, as the desert selection is so big that I couldn’t even try it all. Sehr schöne, untypische Location. Das Ambiente war trotz des hohen Geräuschpegels sehr entspannt. Als wir dort waren, war das Restaurant sehr voll und obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, zeigte der Besitzer sich sehr flexibel und bot uns schnell einen Platz an. Das Personal ist ungewöhnlich gut organisiert, die Getränke waren schnell am Platz (allerdings waren sie auch sehr teuer - 0,5l Softdrink 4,20€) und unsere Teller wurden schnell abgeräumt. Das Essen war gut, besonders der Meeresfrüchtesalat, die Jakobsmuscheln und die marinierten Lammlendchen sind zu empfehlen. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es, weil wir uns sehr auf das Kuchenbüffet gefreut hatten (zu sehen auf einigen Fotos hier), aber dann leider keines da war. Das Eis war auch schon fast leer (bis auf ein paar wenige Reste am Boden der Packungen - da verliert man dann recht schnell die Lust auf Eis), die Black-Tiger-Garnelen waren leider auch nicht mehr so richtig frisch, hatte ich den Eindruck. Insgesamt eines der umfangreichsten Buffets, die ich je gesehen habe. Man ist schnell überfordert, weil nahezu alles sehr ansprechend präsentiert wird und man gerne alles probieren möchte, dies aber unmöglich kann.

Edit Oktober 2019:

Mittlerweile war ich erneut hier. Nach wie vor schöne Location. Ein bisschen voll zwar, aber dafür gibt es jetzt eine Getränke-Flatrate. Leider musste ich wieder feststellen, dass der Fisch nicht mehr frisch war. Auch das schummrige Licht in dem Gang mit den 'frischen' Zutaten für den mongolischen Grill spricht nicht für die Frische des Fischs. Wenn Fisch sehr fischig riecht und die Augen eingefallen sind (was man erst sieht, wenn man sehr genau hinsieht - es ist ja dunkel), sollte Fisch nicht mehr unbedingt serviert werden. Abgesehen davon, dass ich bei diesem Preis (23,90€!) etwas anderes erwarte. Wenn für diesen Preis die Frische des Fischs nicht gewährleistet werden kann, muss entweder der Preis erhöht werden oder das mongolische Buffet sollte geschlossen werden. Die Black Tiger Garnelen sind übrigens nicht entdärmt, was sie leider, wenn man sie im gebratenen Zustand an den Tisch gebracht bekommt, ungenießbar macht. Alle anderen Speisen sind hervorragend ausgeleuchtet, nur das mongolische Buffet nicht? Das finde ich schon sehr seltsam. Ich möchte hier nicht noch einmal essen. Ich habe das Gefühl, man will mich - im wahrsten Sinne - hinters Licht führen. Seit dem Namens-/Inhaberwechsel hat die Qualität noch einmal deutlich abgenommen.
