NAPLES by Matteo — Restaurant in Fürth

I heard about this pizzeria, some people said that could beat the best one in this area (Nuremberg/Erlangen/Forchheim/Bamberg), so let's try it! Small but nice place. Nice pizza "Naples style". Very good dough (good leavening and not salty). Very good quality of ingredients (e.g.: tomato, mozzarella, etc.). Pizza arrived very quickly and it could have been cooked better. Most probably the temperature of the oven was not perfect so, the pizza had to be pulled out although the border was not perfectly cooked (it was super gummy, too much gummy also for Naples standard). Happy for the Menu that offers several unusual and tasty specialties (e.g.: fried pizza stripes with Nutella as dessert). In the end it is a good place, but the one in Erlangen is still the best. Best Italian pizza I had in the whole Germany over a 4 years experience. The place is quite small and simple, hot in summer (a fan would be nice ;) but it doesn’t matter. You are drawn to it just by following the delicious smell from the street. Sit down, and enjoy a delicious dough and a fine selection of options of properly sized gourmet pizzas. The truffle one is my recommendation for cheese lovers ;)

Very good pizza, the menu options and ingredients have a really good quality. The prices are in the mid range but the issue for me is that the minimum order for home delivery (in lieferando) is quite high, so just for 2 pizzas is “not enough” so I grabbed 2 cannoli, which were really nice, but I felt pushed to order.
