Gasthof Zur Linde — Restaurant in Friedberg

As the owners and operaters of the Gasthof, my husband and I take great pride in serving our customers and always put out our best efforts to please our guests. We use high quality, regional products in our restaurant and value friendly service.

Our guest rooms are very simple, with common bathrooms.The rooms are very affordable (24 Euro per Person per Night) and we cater to the bicyclists and workers in the area - looking for a simple room at a good price.

Sometimes, unfortunately, a guest may not be happy with our services and we welcome this forum to view the comments and concerns of our guests. We appreciate these reviews because they indeed make us better and show us what where improvements need to be made.

We have read these comments with great interest and made necessary changes- we also inform our hotel guests of the condition of the rooms and levy no charge for cancellations.(By the way sometimes people write reviews that simple are not true- we have 2 showers and 13 rooms- it is also a shame that we do not know who has written these reviews because we would love to have the opportunity to reach out to them and make things good.)

Biergarten vs Gaststätte Zuerst zum Biergarten: guter schneller Service, höflich und zuvorkommend! Essen fein und nicht zu wenig-Fazit: gute Sache und ein gutes Gefühl dort Zeit zu verbringen!

Nun zur Gaststätte: kaum in der Gaststätte angekommen ist es uns schon wieder vergangen-bescheidene Begrüssung, wir waren dort eindeutig nicht willkommen und dieses Gefühl hatten wir alle(3 Personen) So sollte sich unser schlechtes Gefühl bei der Bestellung dann auch bestätigen, keine Speisekarte bekommen-bei Nachfrage der vorhandenen Speisen Wurstsalat, Sülze oder eben eine Brotzeit-auf die Frage ob es auch Käsespatzen gab es nur ein gebrummel der Bedienung, "vielleicht, eigentlich nur Brotzeit, ich schau mal ob es geht" lange rede... haben nachdem wir die Käsespatzen doch noch bestellen"durften" beeilten wir uns diese zu verzehren-bloss schnell raus, war unser Gedanke! Fazit: Wir werden nie wieder dort Speisen, auch nicht im Biergarten, denn es könnte ja diese jene Bedienung anwesend sein, das ganze lässt sich egal mit welchem Kommentar des Gasthofes plausibel erklären!
