Barista Café — Restaurant in Göttingen

I went to this bar after a long stop, small place and expensive. I went over to have an espresso after lunch and I had forgotten that they don't have POS machine and you can only pay with cash. When I had to pay, I asked to pay with the card, and since it wasn't possible, the lady asked to leave my ID card for 2 € of espresso to come back with cash... apart from the fact that, being a bar in city center and still have no ability to accept electronic payments, their request showed that they see everyone as a guilty ( suspicious of not wanting to pay) and keep their ID card for a bunch of coins, since otherwise their business might go in tilt. In the name of iced coffee they serve extremely sweet chocolaty syrup without ice and oodles of whipped cream with barely any coffee taste. The lady in front is rude. They don't understand how to share the wifi password even though they have wifi, (showed extreme discomfort with english). If you guys hate internationals just put a word out in front saying "No English communication". Would save us from spending unnecessarily on a sweet syrup in the name of coffee. Absolutely wonderful coffee shop! We had both cappuccino and espresso, as well as croissants. All were delicious, and the ambience was perfect, both relaxed and sharp at the same time. I'd go back in...
