La Pergola cucina italiana — Restaurant in Garching bei München

I was so sceptical before coming to this place after reading the reviews. Addressing the process- yes, indeed, they are on a high level, typical for Munich and not for Garching. But also you need to take into consideration that the chef is like a brand, he received some rewards so it is not a surprise the prices are higher. When you going to acknowledged Micheline restaurants you also pay a bit for the branding. Anyway, was it the best pizza I’ve had in my life? No. But it was very very good. I tried pizza with truffles and chestnuts, one on regular dough and the other on some kind of their special dough. Truffle pizza was good but I don’t think a combination of tomatoes and truffles is good, tomatoes overpower truffles. The pizza with chestnuts, on the other hand, was one of the best I’ve ever had. This special dough was aromatic and delicious, the toppings were well combined and generous. It’s such a unique combo of chestnuts, meat and ricotta that I’ve never tried before. Food is great but service was really bad. We were 3 women and we wait 10minites to get a small corner desk. 1minute after us, 3 guys entered and got a table double size as ours. We waived for more 10minutes to manage to order and waited during half an hour for our food when surprisingly we saw this another table, who order after us getting their food first. We asked, very politely about our food, maybe they forgot it. They did forget, but did not admit. The main waiter came a few minutes later, looking angry and said in a bad tone "so what's the problem with u 3?", making look like we were the ones overreacting. We simply made a question, is that a problem now? Unbelievable, he kept trying to invert the situation and make us feel bad. Another 20 minutes and the pizza came. So yes, they had forgotten. A simple "I'm sorry we are doing now" could had solve this instead of this arrogant...

Ich kann die negativen rezessionen nicht nachvollziehen oder bestätigen. Ich und meine freundin haben dort schon mal zum liefern bestellt allerdings telefonisch, pizza kam schnell und frisch bei uns an. Das war eine der besten italienischen pizzen die wir hier je gegessen haben. Das besondere ist das sie aus dem Steinofen kommt und dadurch besonders gut schmeckte vor allem der rand bleibt bei uns nicht mehr übrig wie bei anderen pizzen.da dieser so kross, leicht und lecker schmeckt einfach super! Heute waren wir vor Ort zum zweiten mal essen und hervorzuheben war der service (ein junger schlanker mann mit brille ) er war stets da wenn wir etwas brauchten und richtete uns am tisch sogar den salat mit essig, öl und pfeffer an perfekt! Er war nicht aufdringlich und merkte sofort wenn man etwas brauchte und war gleich am tisch. Sehr aufmerksam und höflich so mag ich das. Die anderen mitarbeiter kann ich nicht beurteilen. Ich hatte aber auch nicht den eindruck das jemand schlecht drauf gewesen wäre. Wenn hier kleinlaute leute meckern das der mozarella auf der pizza stückchenweise drauf ist muss ich dazu sagen das sie hier bei einem echten italiener sind und sich das so gehört! Pizza von der freundin (mozzarella) war top! Sodass ich auch nach meiner sehr leckeren lasagne noch bei ihr mitgegessen habe. Die portionen sind genau richtig man will ja nicht aus allen nähten platzen sonst bleibt eh nur was über und wir als wegwerfgesellschaft könnten uns auch daran richten. Die pizzen sind wie gesagt alle sehr zu empfehlen die sind auch ordentlich gross. Meine lasagne und salat waren perfekt nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig. Ein insgesamt sehr gelungener abend bei ihnen. Ein grosses Lob gilt der freundlichen Bedienung! Preise sind voll in Ordnung man erhält dafür auch eine sehr gute Qualität. Ps: hausgemachte gnochi sind ein probieren wert die hatte ich damals zu meiner lieferbestellung gewählt und war sehr überascht wie gelungen die sind. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.
