Simce my favorite indian restaurant closed (Ganpati Herrsching) i tried a bunch of different ones but none of them came close to that magnificent taste. Luckily i saw good reviews for Maharaja and although they don't deliver to my...village :))) i went there and picked up my order. We had Murg nilgiri paneer, Butter chicken, Chicken Windaloo and 2 other types which I can't remember now. They were all absolutely delicious!!! DELICIOUS!!!! The paneer is soft, you can taste the spices and it's like a party for my taste buds. The nan is great and the dessert too (milch bällchen). The staff is super friendly and kind, the prices ok. Heute war ich mit meinem Mann nach langer Zeit wieder im Maharaja. Die vielen guten Bewertungen haben uns veranlasst, von München nach Gilching zu fahren und indisch zu essen. Aus früherer Zeit gab es zum Empfang ein Papadam Brot mit verschiedenen Dips. Leider umsonst gefreut, dies ist ausgefallen. Der Hauptgang war ok. Von 12 Weinsorten auf der Getränkekarte war nur ein Riesling verfügbar.
