Hotel & Restaurant LUISE Badenweiler — Restaurant in GVV Müllheim-Badenweiler

We (2 couples) stayed in this hotel on our way back from Italy. It could have been the culture shock after a wonderful stay in Italy, but we do not recognize the praise the Luisenstuben gets from others.||When we arrived no one at the desk, a lady was called and showed us our rooms.||Big rooms with plenty of space to stroll around and look at the utterly boring furniture, most of it on wheels. The carpeting on the floor was old and faded, the bathroom was good, the beds too.||||The telephone did not work, the wifi needed a password which we could get at the reception, as the telephone did not work and there was nobody at the reception anyway we had to go to somebody serving in the cafe/restaurant who did not know anything about it, then gave us the wrong password, going back somebody else gave us another wrong password and the third time I took my notebook down to the bar and finally was given the right one. No excuses, nothing, he was very much in a hurry to get rid of me.||We were planning to have a drink and a meal on the terrace, but we did not get any service. It was a warm evening and there were more people on the terrace, but finally going over to the bar to order something we were rudely sent away with the message that somebody would come to take our orders. After a while a couple of menus were thrown on the table and that was it.||We gave up and went for a very nice meal in Hotel Post where the food and the service were excellent and prices very reasonable.||||The breakfast was poor, and the elderly guests who watched us rather suspiciously made sure that we did not get any of the sparingly distributed cut meat.||||Adieu Luisenstuben, you are not for us, but others may enjoy the big boring rooms, although overpriced in our opinion considering the...

The Hotel Luisenstuben is located in the pedestrian zone above the Spa in a quiet location. The hotel has 12 rooms all junior suites. Thy are located on the upper floors that are accessible with a lift. The rooms are comfortably furnished. The design and decorations are in bright flashing colors, what worked quiet well and was not disturbing. A small living room with sitting area and a desk is separated from the bedroom. The beds are 200 cm long. Facilities include a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. The free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. The bath room is bright and clean. ||Bad Bellingen was on a rainy weekday December already at 06.00 PM deserted. There were only a few guests in the hotel. The room was nicely heated upon our arrival.||The restaurant offers a cozy ambiance. Probably because of the low volume of guest the menu was somewhat limited to simply prepared food such as schnitzel and steaks. The food was good. The breakfast buffet in spite of the few guests did not lack anything. Egg dishes are prepared freshly on request. ||Sideways at the House are 6 parking spaces, which is insufficient when the hotel has full occupancy. The Spa is located at 100...
