I recently had the pleasure of dining at an extraordinary Argentine restaurant that left me completely satisfied and amazed. From the moment we stepped foot inside, it was evident that this place was special. Allow me to share the exceptional experience I had at this establishment.
First and foremost, the food was nothing short of extraordinary. We indulged in the T-bone steak cooked to a perfect medium, and the Lamm Filet prepared rare. The tenderness and juiciness of the steak were simply unparalleled, leaving us with a lingering flavor that will be etched in our taste buds for a long time. The Lamm Filet, cooked to perfection, was a symphony of delicate flavors that showcased the culinary expertise of the chef. Every bite was a reminder of the artistry and dedication that went into crafting such remarkable dishes.
The attentive and friendly service we received added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. The staff was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring our utmost satisfaction. Their warm demeanor and willingness to accommodate our requests made us feel truly valued as guests. Furthermore, as we bid farewell to this culinary haven, we were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary Sambuca, a delightful gesture that showcased the establishment's commitment to going above and beyond for their patrons.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional Argentine restaurant to anyone seeking an extraordinary culinary adventure. The T-bone steak and Lamm Filet were succulent and cooked to perfection, showcasing the skill and expertise of the chef. The friendly and attentive service, coupled with the complimentary Sambuca, further elevated our dining experience. From start to finish, everything about this restaurant exuded excellence. 📍 The Location Arizona Steakhouse is a well-known spot in Winterhude, but like many steakhouses in Germany, it tends to be overpriced and overcrowded. Even with a reservation, seating is chaotic—we had to share a six-person table with three strangers despite booking in advance. The waiting system is poorly managed, as reservations are not respected, and guests are told to queue outside.
🍽️ The Food The steak was fair for the price—a small, standard cut accompanied by toast and a baked potato. However: ✅ Medium-rare steak but lacked depth in flavor. ✅ Toast and salsa were the highlights, adding much-needed taste. ❌ Baked potato was undercooked and overloaded with sauce.
For €12 per person, it's decent, but not special.
⚠️ Tips for a Better Visit Don't expect a premium steakhouse experience—this is a casual, budget-friendly option. Be prepared to wait, even with a reservation. Not ideal for a special occasion due to the dark, crowded, and noisy atmosphere.
🔄 Would I Return? Maybe. The price is reasonable, but there are likely better options in Hamburg where you can enjoy a meal without the stress of long waits for an average food.

Read moreA not so hidden gem in the middle of fancy Winterhude. We arrived here early in the evening on a Sunday. The place was absolutely packed. After a short wait we got a table near the entrance. The seating situation is not intimate. You can see that the plan is to offer seating to as many people as possible. Upon checking the menu the prices stand out. As many other reviews state, they seem to have fallen out of time. I don’t know when I last saw food so affordable in Hamburg.
Due to the high number of customers the service is sometimes not as available, but generally, someone always shows up after a while. We each ordered a steak. They arrived fairly quickly and were awesome, especially considering the price. The steaks come with a fluffy baked potato and a piece of garlic bread. All components of the dish were good. Complementary chimichurri is served with it. There are other side dishes that you can order with the food. None will break the bank.
There was a ton of people waiting outside when we left. Be sure to reserve a table or to arrive outside of...
