Ottensener Foodkitchen Altona — Restaurant in Hamburg

The burgers were the best I had in Hamburg. My friend had the cheeseburger and I had the chicken burger. Both sandwiches were perfectly cooked, well dressed and served by the owner who was very friendly and helped us decide on our orders. My chicken burger was tender and well-seasoned and definitely in my top 10 chicken sandwiches that I've had in my life! We originally ordered takeout as the restaurant was packed but a table opened up while we were waiting and the owner and his crew replated our food so we could eat it there.

Next time I'm in Hamburg, I'm definitely returning. This restaurant has definitely earned it's 5...

Great service, and nice vibe. The portions are good too. Very accommodating to English , which I was grateful for.

Unfortunately I found the food to be a bit disappointing in taste. Had the double smash burger and the currywurst with fries. The smash burger was lacking so much in flavor & I wish there was the typical special sauce that goes into this type of burger. The currywurst was a bit too ketchupy and lacking in the curry flavor.

It’s also a bit wild to me that they charge 50 cents for ketchup and mayo, as these are staples for this sort of experience…
