COFFEE BAY — Restaurant in Hanau

Probably one of my favorite coffee spots in Hanau to go when I'm on-the-go. One of my favorite things about them aside from their drink products is their sweets - specifically things like their muffins and banana bread. One of the only locations where the pastries are not dry like a mouth full of sawdust. They make very rich and moist muffins and cakes similar to the ones you can find in America. Ich bin Kunde beim Coffee Bay seit es in Hanau eröffnet hat (dürften auch bald 10 Jahre sein). Die Qualität ist dauerhaft gut und die Freundlichkeit des Personals lässt nicht zu wünschen übrig. Ich habe fast alles aus dem umfangreichen Angebot probiert und es sollte für jeden was dabei sein... Ob kalt, warm, heiß, süß, herzhaft, fruchtig,... Man kann sowohl im Winter als auch im Sommer hervorragend entspannen, manchmal ist aber viel los, da ist es nicht so leicht einen Platz zu bekommen. Ich geh dann meistens kurz bummeln und nach 15 Minuten ist dann meistens ein Platz für 2 oder mehr Personen frei. Es gibt sonnige und schattige Plätze. Selbstbedienung ist bei einem Coffeeshop klar, aber die Bagels (alle Zutaten frisch und handgemacht!) zum Beispiel werden frisch zubereitet und dann an den Platz gebracht, das ist nicht selbstverständlich und finde ich lobenswert. Das Publikum ist gemischt von Schülern über Mütter mit Kindern und älteren Herrschaften zu lernenden Azubis und Studenten. Der Service ist zügig und dass es manchmal eine Schlange an der Kasse gibt zeugt eigentlich nur davon, dass das (eigentlich ja "die") Coffee Bay sehr beliebt hier in Hanau ist.
