Julian's Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Hanover

I went to this place with my wife, our friend and our one month old baby. The head waiter was really arrogant, trying to convince us that he can not give us a table in the front because there was too less space for his colleagues to serve around the table, although the space was enough. Instead he could offer us a table in the sun with 30 centigrade temperature under the shadow. For “our luck” another table in the shadow got empty in the moment and we could get that. We walked you our table and waited for the menus 20 minutes and after another 15 waiting for the waiter to come and take our order we left. This is first time in my life I have been treated in this way. It was really unpleasant situation especially when you are carrying the baby.

Mediocre at best.

I have to start with the waiter… It is possible that we were just unlucky and got the bad apple of the staff, but it did kind of ruin our experience. Since the man that served us acted very arrogantly.

We didn’t order a lot, but that which we did order either wasn’t very good, or took a long time to arrive.

The cappuccino was average at best.

The fries were pretty good the first time (but took half an hour to arrive), and undercooked the second time (though they did take another half an hour to arrive).

I don’t exactly know how to describe what an iced coffee should be like.. But I do know, that the one I received here was way too watery.

Maybe they had an off day at Julian’s Bar & Restaurant… But I won’t return for a second time, so I guess...

Lokation bzw Terrasse ist Klasse. Kuchen (Himbeer Käsekuchen) und Getränke komplett in Ordnung. Service fiel leider sehr negativ auf. Die erste Bedingung war bei der Bestellung Aufnahme nicht in der Lage zuzuhören und macht aus 1 Kaffee zwei. Bei Zusammenfassung der Bestellung fiel es zum Glück auf. Ein komplettes No Go fand ich war das einfach weggehen ohne ein "Danke für ihre Bestellung" oder ähnliches. Die Bedingungen hat sich dann lieber mit ihrer Chefin? unterhalten statt sich vernünftig beim Gast zu "bedanken" bzw "verabschieden" nach Aufnahme der Bestellung.

Bringen der Getränke und Kuchen war eine komplette Katastrophe fand ich. Erst kam ein Kaffee. Dann kam das andere Getränk sowie ein Kuchen. Der 2te Kuchen fehlte und mussten noch Bescheid sagen, dass einer fehlt.. Statt dass der Kellner es sofort holt macht er sonstwas. 2 Person bestellen Getränke und Kuchen und es wird in 3 teilen geliefert? Man bestellt zusammen und dann muss eine Person warten bis beide das bestellte haben? Sowas geht nicht bei dem Preisniveau finde ich.

Der andere Kellner hat dann noch Ketchup am Nachbartisch runter geworfen. Ein Gast hat die Ketchup Schale vom Boden geholt. Der Kellner hat sich nicht Mal entschuldigt oder richtig beim Gast bedankt und meinte sinngemäß nur, dass er es nun Mal weg tut.. Der Ketchup Fleck wurde auch nicht richtig entfernt und zierte ab dann denn Boden als verschmierter Fleck.

Ein obligatorisches ob alles in Ordnung war fehlt natürlich bei der Bezahlung auch.

Ganz im Ernst... Der Service passt in keiner Weise zu dem Preisniveau. Sowas geht nicht find ich. War wohl das letzte Mal das ich da war. 4,5? für Kuchen bei so schlechtem Service tue ich mir...
