A great location of the restaurant in Heidelberg. The restaurant is overlooking the nice tennis courts and have a nice outdoor and indoor seating possibilities. The cuisine is mix of Mediterranean cum German cuisine and have good choice of Tapas and main courses. The do also serve good beer both alcoholic and non alcoholic options in which is quite nice. The quality of food taste and service all very good. One important note is on the payment as they don’t accept any Credit or debit cards and just accept cash or Giro Cards (specific to German banks), this in my opinion is a huge disadvantage as people don’t carry cash normally and not necessarily have a EC or Giro card. Luckily a colleague had a zero card and we managed else would have been a nightmare to go get cash to pay. They have to fix this topic or the restaurant need to warn in advance while booking or before the start of the meal. I'm rating it a 3 Star because it was nothing special and it was a mix between a 2star food and a 4star service. This was a lunch visit during the week. The place is very nice and very well decorated. The waitress was also nice and spoke English. Now the food was very bland and kind of pricy for a lunch menu. I did not take a picture of a salad that cost 13 plus euros and all it was was salad and a piece of goat chees. -Grillteller auch nach Reklamation erneut kalt geliefert- Ich wollte mit Begleitung einen Urlaub im Restaurant ausklingen lassen - wir hatten uns von den überwiegend guten Bewertungen leiten lassen - leider. Als Vorspeise bestellte ich Hackbällchen, als Hauptspeise einen Grillteller ohne Lamm. Es wurden vorab ein paar geschnittene Scheiben Baguette geliefert - ohne Aufstrich (dieser koste extra). Öl gab es nicht auf dem Tisch. Das Brot muss schon länger angebrochen gewesen sein, da ein Stück auch im mittleren Teil bereits fest geworden/ausgetrocknet war. Die Vorspeise war in Ordnung, nichts besonderes. Die Hackbällchen waren sehr weich in ihrer Konsistenz. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war gerade noch vertretbar (6,50 €) Zeitlich etwa 20 Minuten nach der Vorspeise kam die Hauptspeise. Der Teller war heiß - nur das Essen nicht . Die Pommes Frites waren innen noch etwas mehr als handwarm. Diese Klebten teilweise aneinander, da diese in der Fritteuse nach dem Tiefkühlvorgang nicht getrennt worden waren. Das Schweinefleisch war gerade noch handwarm, das Rindfleisch ebenso. Ich reklamierte prompt und bekam etwa 1 Minute später denselben Teller mit leicht zerflossener Kräuterbutter wieder. Das Essen war noch ebenso handwarm. Daraufhin gab ich das Essen zurück, einschließlich des unangerührten Salattellers. Die Entschuldigung des Service war verhalten. Rabatt gab es nicht - nur wurde meine Hauptspeise nicht berechnet. Abend ruiniert. Nie wieder. Im Übrigen waren gerade einmal etwa 20 Gäste im Restaurant (eine größere Gruppe hatte bereits gegessen als wir bestellten).
