Pizzeria El Greko — Restaurant in Heilbad Heiligenstadt

Great experience! First I was a bit sceptical as for me combination of Greek restaurant delivering pizza is a bit weird. But we had to eat on our long journey and average of google reviews was high so we've risked it. And it was a great choice. Not only the pizza was really tasty, but the atmosphere was very friendly as well.

The owner was super busy, but he managed to go to every guest to greet him and offered them greek spirit Ouzo (or what's the name).

Another good indicator was that during approximately one hour of us being there there were constantly coming people (though the town was already "sleeping" - almost nobody on streets and very quiet - Monday 7 pm). And their phone was often ringing with orders for delivery too.

When we will be passing by in the future, we definitely will...

Wir sind dort immer gern hingegangen aber was ich gestern erlebt hab,da war es wohl vorerst das letzte mal. Wir waren mit 4 Leuten da und haben gegessen. Außerdem haben wir noch Essen mitgenommen. Ich wollte gern ein Stempelkärtchen haben, das hat der Besitzer mir verweigert 🤨 Außerdem kommt er jedesmal mit Ouzo an, obwohl wir den "nicht" bestellen, mussten wir gestern dafür bezahlen, das finde ich eine absolute Frechheit 😡 Wer weiß wie oft wir den schon mitbezahlt haben... aber gestern habe ich es mitbekommen! Also Leute passt auf beim bezahlen!!!
