Corner Café — Restaurant in Hesse

We visited a corner cafe in Darmstadt and ordered Latte Macchiato. The price was reasonable, and the quality was good. The atmosphere was okay, though some of the benches we sat on had broken material, which was a bit disappointing.

However, the major downside was the toilet. It was one of the dirtiest I’ve ever seen, even dirtier than toilets at roadside restaurants. It was as filthy as hell, which is shocking for a cafe located in the heart of a city like Darmstadt. This is a serious disadvantage and something that really needs to be addressed.

They have some really nice coffee here! I however wouldn’t recommend sitting down here. The place is just so dirty. Cobwebs on sofas and pillows. Ordered some cake and got a dirty fork (twice!) and eventually only got a clean one the third time around. Waitress didn’t even apologise and looked annoyed with me :/ the table was also really dirty. I’ve come here about 3 times and at this point I just don’t think they clean as often as they should. I will only be getting coffee to go from here...

Ein sehr schönes kleines Cafe mit reichlich Angebot den Tag über (Getränke und Snacks) ab fünf Euro kann mann mit Karte zahlen. Im Angebot haben sie falls man Veganer oder Allergiker ist auch Laktosefreie und Soyamilch, einfach bei der Bestellung angeben. Sitzplätze drinnen und draußen, sehr hipper und beliebter Ort,jeder Altersklasse. Abends Wird es zu einer "Bar" und man wird am Tisch bedient. Über Bier und Wein hinweg haben sie sehr gute Cocktails und Longdrinks, das Angebot ist groß. Ob zum Quatschen, chillen, lernen oder einfach einen schönen Abend verbringen, Du bist dort immer gut aufgehoben und willkommen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommen egal zu welcher Tageszeit.
