MASALA Indisches Restaurant — Restaurant in Holzkirchen

We visited this restaurant together with our friends for dinner. At first, everything went smoothly. To avoid any misunderstandings, we placed our orders by family numbers (1, 2, 3, 4) so that the process would be easier for the staff. However, when the bill arrived, it turned out to be incorrect and confusing. We politely pointed out to the staff that the invoices were not accurate.

Unfortunately, we then had to endure discriminatory and rude comments. Even in the presence of parents from two families, we were inappropriately accused of not wanting to pay. The manager in particular behaved in an extremely disrespectful manner and made remarks that we perceived as clearly racist.

In our view, it is contradictory to operate a restaurant under the name “Indian Restaurant” but to obviously not treat Indian guests with the same appreciation as German guests. This behavior is unacceptable.
