Junbi Restaurant — Restaurant in Kassel

Hi! I ordered from this restaurant about 2 weeks ago and actually forgot to come back with a review.

I'll start with the kindness and availability of the lady I spoke with on the phone. The order was a bit big, and she took care to make sure I understood everything. This is because the dialogue was in English. As we talked, he gave me the feeling that I had made a good choice.

I went to pick up the order, and here begins my thanks to the team. It was evening, around closing time, and once I walked into the restaurant, the atmosphere there...gosh, I would have stayed with them to help clean, etc., just for the way I felt. Indeed, everyone present there greeted me and smiled. And it was a sincere smile. And thank you!

As for the food...I can't wait to go back, and this time, the experience should be in a restaurant. Absolutely everything was so nutritious and tasty. Damn! Personally, I did not become very good friends with fish, until I had the pleasure of working in Asian kitchens, mostly focused on sushi. I simply came to love it, but also this kind of food, and since then, wherever I go, among other things, I look for sushi. Amazing and authentic place for Japanese and Asian fusion kitchen.

We shared a sushi platter, which had amazing variety of different sushi and very fresh fish. all of the sushi pieces tasted very good and there was plenty of fish. The sake I had was very aromatic and a great drink during the meal.

The restaurant has a nice terrace where you can sit outside in summer and a lovely interior inside of the restaurant

Wir wollten uns einen schönen Abend machen und haben bisher nur positives vom Restaurant gehört. Noch dazu hat es sich der Eigentümer auf die Fahnen geschrieben, das Sushi in Kassel auf ein neues Niveau zu heben. Entsprechende Preise werden auch abgerufen. Soweit so gut. Leider ist das Junbi auf fast allen Ebenen durchgefallen. Wir haben einem populären Feiertag dort bestellt und dann auch noch als Lieferung, daher absolut verständlich, wenn es länger dauern kann. Leider haben wir dann vier Stunden auf unser Essen warten müssen. Ja, vier Stunden. Auf Nachfrage erhielt man nur fadenscheinige Auskünfte, wie der Fahrer sei unterwegs (nach 90min) oder der Fahrer sei gerade eingetroffen und würde gleich mit der Bestellung losfahren (nach 2:30h). In der Zeit hätten wir selbst kochen können, was auch besser gewesen wäre. Das Essen kam natürlich kalt und matschig an und setzt sich nur in Teilen von anderen Restaurants in dieser Stadt ab.

Wenn man mit dem Arbeitsvolumen überfordert ist, wäre es ratsam, mehr Personal einzustellen. Wenn man noch dazu solche Preise abruft und gerne „gehoben“ daher kommen möchte, wäre es umso passender, der Kundschaft nicht dreist ins Gesicht zu lügen. Es kam auch keinerlei Entschuldigung oder Bemühungen, uns als Gäste zu behalten. Vermutlich hat das „niveauvolle“ Junbi dies einfach...
