I wanted to say that in many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that, in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. I was surprised but last night, I experienced something new, an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Lavastein's, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in Kassel. If your looking for a place to really enjoy food in Kassel, this homey, intimate restaurant it the best place for you!!! After one and a half years in Germany, it was first time we have enjoyed eating in a restaurant...The staff is warm and inviting, perfect hospitality and great food made with lots of love...Food was fresh and soooo tasty....price is fare trade, WC are clean. The place is children friendly and great for families...They were flexible with my vegetarian wife and made special dishes for her...Highly...

Haben über Lieferando zwei Pizzen bestellt . ( Haweii und eine Pizza Hollandaise (vegetarisch). Geliefert wurden Haweii und eine andere auch mit Fleisch , Pilzen , also keine Hollandaise . Haben somit versucht das Restaurant über die angegeben Nummer , von Lieferando zu erreichen, wir kamen trotz 5 maligne Anrufen zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten nicht ran. Sind somit zur angeben Adresse gefahren , dort war dieser Laden nicht zu finden Also nochmal erneut bei Google Maps gesucht und zu der dort angeben Adresse gefahren. Sind dann ins Restaurant und haben es mit der Falschen Lieferung geklärt , wurden dabei jedoch sehr unschön belächelt , Fahrtkosten haben sie uns auch erst nach 3 maligne Nachfragen erstatten ( wohl gemerkt haben wir ja welche bei Lieferando zahlen müssen ). Zu der falschen Adresse und Telefonnummer wurde nicht wirklich eine klare Äußerung gegeben. Sehr schade wie man behandle wird denn der Laden selbst einen Fehler macht und einen das Gefühl vermittelt möchte , das wir als Kunden was falsch gemacht hätten. Letzte Aussage bezieht sich darauf das erst gesagt wurde die Bestellung wäre falsch verstanden wurde , was jedoch bei einer online Bestellung wohl sehr schlecht möglich ist , wenn es ja fest aufgeschrieben ist , was man bestellt hat !

Wir gehen nie mehr zu diesen Laden und bestellen dort auch nichts mehr , auch wenn das Essen eine normale zu erwarteten , schmeckende Qualität zeigt. Freundliche Behandlung und sich einen Fehler ein zu gestehen sollte ein guter Laden dann aber...
