Hand down I will say this: this is one of the best spots to eat in Kevelaer. I have been visiting the town for years with our local church to visit the churches etc. but by the time we are done and hungry most restaurants do not serve food yet, this place opens at 16:00 which is perfect after a long day of wandering. Second pointer why I like this place: it has more to offer than just the standard fries and schnitzel meals most places have. As someone with a sensitive stomach I cannot handle greasy good well and inside the city center most places offer nothing but exactly that, this place however has a variety of dishes with not just fries and salad on the side and meat drowned in sauce. There are burgers for those who want it, various fries options but also meals that include red cabbage, various cuts of meat, various vegetarian options and so on. We both had red cabbage and veal and it was worth every penny, no stomach problems, big portions and most importantly well cooked food! It is just a short walk away from the city center and def worth the walk! We are def planning on coming back next year. I grew up in Kevelaer and live somewhere else - when I saw a Creator on TikTok talking about Herr Lehmann's delicious Vulcano Burger I had to pay Kevelaer and this restaurant a visit.

The burger was perfection. Every bite tasted different. Juicy, soft, and perfectly spiced. It felt like a journey eating it and I can highly recommend trying this one if you eat meat and if you want to try one of the best burgers out there.

Service: this place really took the best waiters/waitresses on the market and put them here. Next to the best food, this was the best service I have experienced. Everybody is super friendly, communicative and they seem to enjoy the work there.

The atmosphere feels like home and the interior is very thought out. I didn't feel that I didn't belong there but overall the atmosphere makes you super relaxed.

What I also really liked is that we could draw a die - if you get a 6 you get a coin for a machine with extra surprises: cool concept that keeps the guests engaged.

Overall: up to this day this has been the best place I have eaten and I hope they continue doing...

Puh… ich weiß gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll. Da fehlen mir sogar ein wenig die Worte um hier in wenigen Sätzen zum Ausdruck zu bringen, was ich nach dem heutigen Abend über das Herr Lehmann denke. Und es macht mich auch sehr stolz, da ich glaube zu wissen wie hart Gastronomie sein kann und wie viel das ganze Team täglich investieren muss, um diesen Standard bieten zu können. Aber wenn man Euer Lokal betritt, spürt man direkt diese Liebe und diese Leidenschaft, die Euch ganz besonders von allen anderen abhebt und zeigt, wie gerne ihr Gastgeber seid. Ihr empfangt Eure Gäste, als wär man bei euch „Zu Hause“. Ihr habt moderne Gastronomie neu interpretiert und stecht damit bei mir genau ins Schwarze. Der herzliche Empfang hat uns direkt an der Eingangstür abgeholt und auf eine kleine kulinarische Reise mitgenommen. Das kleine Würfelspiel als Einstieg (ich möchte nicht zu viel verraten) hat uns direkt ein Lächeln bereitet und man hatte das Gefühl bei Euch wirklich herzlich Willkommen zu sein. Das Ambiente hat absolut überzeugt, denn wohin man nur schaute man erkannte eine weitere verspielte Idee, die einen überraschte oder zum Lächeln brachte. Selbst auf den Toiletten ist alles von A-Z durchdacht. Die Speisekarte, modern verziert mit dem eingebrannten Herr Lehmann - Logo, ist mitunter unsere größte Herausforderung geworden. Es werden so viele tolle Gerichte angeboten, da weiß man gar nicht wozu man sich entscheiden sollte, da man am Liebsten alles probieren würde. Die Getränkekarte ist super, teilweise mit hauseigenen Kreationen sowie einem Bier direkt aus Geldern. Viel mehr Regionalität geht einfach nicht. Unsere Speisen waren so so lecker und auf den Punkt gegart! Frische Zutaten, super verarbeitet und geschmacklich abgestimmt - einfach mega! Die liebe Heidi hat uns an diesem Abend begleitet und war definitiv das Herzstück des Herr Lehmann für uns. Ihre ehrliche und zuvorkommende Art war sehr besonders, danke dir! Aber auch alle anderen Servicekräfte waren super freundlich und ganz ganz tolle Gastgeber! Immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und jeder Gast wurde wertschätzend und warmherzig empfangen. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen und hoffen, dass ihr Eure Werte beibehaltet und einfach genau so weitermacht!
