I am giving only 3 stars because we were there twice - first time, having a delicious meal in the second stand with a really nice seller. So that's for 5 stars. We decided to visit the place again and had a coffee and buy mustard - this time, we stoped in the first stand and the older lady was not really nice to us, moreover she return us less money, and was rude when we immediately tried to complain. Kleine Vorabinfo zu uns als Kunden: Meine Frau und ich betreiben selber eine kleine Gastronomie im Westen von Deutschland und sind entsprechend extrem fordernd, was Auswärts essen angeht.

Hier gibt es die meiner Meinung nach besten Quarkbällchen in ganz Deutschland. So einfach ist das.

Wir hatten jedoch auch einige Suppen probiert und können diese uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Dazu kommt, dass die Location recht malerisch ist und zum Verweilen einlädt. Die Preis- Leistung stimmt absolut und das Personal ist ebenso super freundlich.

Nur eine Kleinigkeit, die aber eher ein Ratschlag ist, als eine Kritik: Ich würde mir etwas mehr Authentizität vom Personal wünschen und etwas weniger "Verkäuferin". Denn wir wären fast weiter gegangen, weil das aggressive Bewerben der Waren uns sehr skeptisch hat werden lassen. Hätte es im Dorf bei der Kahnfahrt noch ein anderes Lokal etwas weiter abseits vom Hotsport gegeben, wären wir nämlich stattdessen dorthin gegangen. Nur aufgrund der Kommunikation. Mit leuchtet schon ein, dass das Prinzip: Nepper, Schlepper, Bauernfänger funktioniert, uns schreckt man damit jedoch als Kundinnen total ab. Entsprechend war es reiner Zufall, dass wir doch eingekehrt sind.

Sollten wir nochmal in der Region unterwegs sein, kommen wir auf eine Suppe und ein Quarkbällchen vorbei. Auch das Bier aus der Region ist dort super...

When You walk around and You see a lot of people happy, You know that food here is nice. Lady speak English here and is really helpfull. You can order a few thing but I Think the main atttaction are snakcs. You can grab a bockwurst (with pickle) for 3€ or bread with lard and pickle for 2€! Both very nice and cheap food to eat when You have a little rest while searching for adventure in Spreedwald.
