Interesting little spot, and certainly a decent place to enjoy a couple of drinks. I was pleasantly surprised to see it run by Thai owners, which initially raised my expectations for the food. We ordered the Thai noodles with chicken and the red Thai curry, both with high hopes.
Unfortunately, the food was rather disappointing. The noodles turned out to be basic instant-style noodles, sautéed with frozen vegetables and chicken strips — more reminiscent of a quick five-minute snack than a restaurant dish. The red Thai curry didn’t fare much better. It lacked the flavour one typically expects, and instead tasted like a watered-down stir-fry with soy and fish sauce. The same frozen vegetables made another appearance, and the courgettes in particular were unpleasantly bitter.
