AKKO Hummus Bar — Restaurant in Leipzig

With all the love & care of the world we need to say AKKO HUMMUS BAR team PLEASE change the working attitude! Despite the food being nicely executed and tasty, the staff is zero motivated, zero focused and seem to only wander around putting together the meals without any sense of order or priority. You encourage us customers to call or text the order so it can pick up saving a little time but the truth is we call and get detoured by the same guy every time who is never there and can never take an order. Then after texting an order 15’ in advance (this has happened more than twice) we still need to wait another 25’ for our meal to be put together!. Aside from that the place seems a little off considering the prices and compared to other hummus bars. Also… no masks? We do hope there are improvements in the future tbh....

I stumble upon Akko quite late at night, was intrigued by many dishes in the menu however the waitress informed me that it was all finished for the day beside the Hummus plate. For me, it showed that food is made on a daily basis which indicates the restaurant's high standards of freshness. We ordered Hummus which was very fulfilling, and was served with chickpeas, pickles, tomato and a spicy paste. This spicy paste (Zhug) was remarkable, tangy, yet very fresh and herby. Zuerst einmal möchte ich Anmerken, dass die Kundenfeedbacks vom Besitzer der Akko Hummus ins lächerliche gezogen werden, statt einfach mal professionell damit umzugehen.

Trotz Vorbestellung und der Bestätigung, dass die Bestellung in 15 min fertig sein wird. Mussten wir 55 min warten. Jedes mal wenn ich anrufe um meine Bestellung abzugeben, werde ich von dem Kerl (der nie da ist) darauf hingewiesen das ganze schriftlich zu machen. Das Personal ist derart verträumt/schwebt in irgendeiner anderen Atmosphäre, dass sie vor lauter am Strohalm nippen vergessen, dass Bestellungen zubereitet werden müssen. Alles ähnelt eher einer WG, die zum ersten mal etwas arbeiten muss. Das Essen ist zudem viel zu überteuert, dafür das z.B. der Mixteller hauptsächlich aus Dekorationen besteht. Nachdem ich länger in Israel gelebt habe, kann ich sagen ich habe so etwas derartiges nie verkauft bekommen.
