Of course, Leipzig is a bit spoilt for choice when it comes to Irish pubs but this one is also pretty good. Situated on a small side street from the Karl-Heine street about 45 minutes walk from the city centre or a 15 minute trip by bike. The location is quite nice with a pretty large beer garden. The food and drinks were OK but avoid the flat and dead kilkenny. The service personnel are friendly and efficient. I didn't personally eat there but my friend said the burger was pretty tasty. great german kitchen, warm atmosphere. they do speak english and are helpful. great selection of beer both on tap and bottled with a bias towards german and british/irish isles. good viewing options for bundesliga games but no premier league matches (yet!). they even have a large smoking section beyond a glass wall but no trace seeps into the cozier...
