The staff was nice overall, but one of them acted slightly rude to us at the end, and was pushy about a tip. The dishes we ordered were okay, but I requested the vegetarian option and it came with a bit of meat. I put it away and still enjoyed my meal but I am sure that would certainly put many other people off.

The atmosphere was really nice, and we really enjoyed sitting outside. I think all the issues we experienced can be avoidable and solvable, and also may not be a problem for some people, so I still recommend this place as an option!

Update - as a reply to the comment left below, I didn't reorder because we were there near closing time, we were told we couldn't order anything beyond our initial choices. I didn't want to disrespect that as I know how stressful it can be to have to redo things last minute.

I did ask for the option on the menu which was vegetarian, to come as vegan, and it wasn't. The waiter seemed confused, and the plate that came was full of egg and it definitely had some chicken meat, so saying "it never happens" is a bit dismissive. With a response like that I won't be coming back. Please take people seriously and use reviews as a moment to understand what can be done better instead of getting defensive and pretending everything is fine. These is not 'a little complaint' it is my experience with your restaurant. As someone with dietary restrictions understanding how things actually are is important to me, and so I leave these reviews so others don't have to go through the same.
