Cafébar Paula — Restaurant in Mittenwald

Very disappointing experience. When we came in, there was a line and we weren’t sure if it was self-service or table service. My husband tried to ask a waitress a few times, but she just consciously ignored him. The third time she finally said in an unfriendly tone that we should sit outside and someone would come. The cakes were fine, but the coffee was honestly awful. The cappuccino tasted watery, like it was made from already used coffee grounds. When we wanted to pay, the same waitress (the one with flowers and lotus tattoos on her wrists) ignored us again and later passed by us again and told us to pay inside, even though we saw her taking payments at other tables. Incredibly rude staff. When we walked in no one greeted us and we walked to the counter trying to find a member of staff. We waited a few minutes and then decided to leave. At which point the waitress got up from a table where she had been chatting with friends, and decided she now had time to serve us. We sat down and instantly she wanted to take our order, I asked for a few minutes and she left in a huff. She came back a few minutes later and said "and", I was shocked and just looked at her, she then said rudely "do you understand the menu?" I said yes. Then she sat at our table and starred at us. Extremely rude staff. We were standing in line to give our order and the waitress told us that if we are in line we can only do takeaway. We told her that we are fine with takeaway but she just kept saying that if we want to eat in we should sit down and wait for 20 minutes until they will come to our table to take our order and that we can’t just „skip in front of the other guests“.
