Awesome place for German cooking. It can take some time, so come by when you’re not in a hurry, but it’s worth it. I’ve lived here for about 3 years not even 1 min walking distance and first ate here about 1 month ago. I’ve returned 2 more times. I’ve dined outside, inside and carry out. I saw a review that it took a long time for the food, and while this is true in my own experience, it didn’t detract from it because the food is so delicious and I think only the woman who took our order was cooking (for 3 meals). So if you’re really in a hurry, just go somewhere else for that moment, but please make time to come back here and give it a try. If you’ve got time, it’s well worth it. My personal favorite is the Knusper Schnitzel as it’s very savory, salami, pork and cheese inside and the outside crust uses cornflakes. I also really enjoy the side of Bratkartoffeln over the fries. Delicious Schnitzel and good beer! Service was great too, you can really feel the homely vibe of the restaurant due to the decoration and regulars having a great time. We ordered the “Schnitzel Wiener Art” and “Knusper Bleu”. Both tasted delicious, the Knusper Bleu was very filling as a cornflake crust and salami & cheese filling. Als ich mit meiner Frau angekommen bin, dachte ich noch, dass das Potential zum Stammlokal hat. Die Deko ist nett und der Außenbereich auch. Allerdings wurde die Bedienung zunehmen unfreundlicher. Außer uns waren drei Gäste im Restaurant, also am Stress kann es nicht gelegen haben. Als sie am Ende für zwei Leitungswasser 6,40€ verlangt haben, obwohl wir abgesehen davon gut konsumiert haben, hat's mir echt gereicht. Würde null Sterne geben wenn ich könnte. 3,20€ für Leitungswasser! PS.: Ich bearbeite jetzt meine Rezension um auf die unverschämte Antwort von der Geschäftsführung reagieren zu können. Man behauptet, dass man sich an uns erinnert und wir nichts konsumiert hätten, was einfach gelogen ist um meine Bewertung unglaubwürdig zu machen. Wir hatten mehrere Runden Getränke und haben dann sogar gefragt ob die Küche noch offen hat worauf man uns (ziemlich unfreundlich) nein gesagt hat. Und darüber hinaus ist es illegal Geld für Leitungswasser zu verlangen wenn das nicht in der Karte klar gekennzeichnet ist, was es nicht war. Und "Wasserschnorrer"??? Ist das euer ernst?? Ein Glas Leitungswasser!! Das es solche Leute gibt.. Die Situation war schon echt mies von euch aber dann so darauf zu reagieren, ich hoffe von ganzem Herzen, dass es euren Laden nicht mehr lange gibt. Würde nach wie vor null Sterne geben, wenn...
