A German colleague recommended me this place so I went to give it a try. Judging from the atmosphere of the restaurant and the customers, it seems like it is only popular among the locals. The interior is not as pretty as the popular German restaurants, but it's a nice place for a family dinner. The staffs are very kind as well.

I ordered schnitzel with salami and cheese on top, dressed in gravy, and lean pork steaks with mushroom sauce and käsespätzle as the side. The food was delicious, not like exceptional, but tastes "homey". I was particularly amazed by the meat, which was cooked perfectly and tender. Amazing. It is located right next to Südbad so one can go there after a good swimming workout. I am definitely planning to do this 😅

Ein wirklich sehr gutes bayerisches Wirtshaus nach meinem Geschmack. Das Altomünster Bier kannte ich noch nicht, dafür kenne ich jetzt das Alto Dunkel sowie deren Weissbier. Das Essen war absolut top!!!! Wer hier nur für einen kleinen Snack herkommt ist eher fehl am Platz, denn die Portionen sind sehr gut und zeigen die Gastfreundlichkeit, die man auch sonst rund herum fühlt. Hier ist der Gast ein Mensch, der als Mensch behandelt wird. Bayerisch herzlich, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es wird auf gute Qualität geachtet. Meine Fleischplanzerl, die den ursprünglich anvisierten Schweinebraten spontan ersetzten, (zu guter Recht, sie sind nicht immer auf der Karte) waren Fleischplanzerl!!!! Super mager, gefühlt riesig und mega lecker. Die Reservierung im Vorfeld war schon bayerisch griabig, so wir ich mich gut aufgehoben fühle. Ruf an, sag an wann du reservieren willst und ich such den für dich besten Tisch aus, und es wird passen 🙂 Es hat gepasst! Ihr wart wirklich top und ich muss definitiv noch den Schnitzeltag am Montag ausprobieren und die Käsespätzle und und und .... kurzum, ihr werdet mich...
