We are a couple looking for a late lunch that is quick and light. Han happens to be a two minute from our hotel opening at around 3:30 pm. We ordered a pan cooked calamari dish and a tuna salad. The service was attentive although not as quick as we would like. There was no trouble for my wife who uses a wheelchair - we were given a large table which we enjoyed. My seat had a great look to outside and it gives a feel of an outdoor seating but at the same time, the air conditioning inside.
The calamari dish was reasonably presented. It was slightly overcooked as I would like the calamari pieces to be softer. The cheese sauce was tasty and blended well with the taste of calamari. I like the cherry tomato that sat on top too.
The tuna fish had a good sized. WE were given brown onion in slices which we disliked and quickly removed. The greens were fresh and ample, and the tuna was tasty too.
The drink, a non-alcoholic spritz with passion fruit and dragon fruit was well balanced and well presented. The passion fruit gave a fragrance that was appetising.
There is no menu in English and we relied on Google Translate a little before deciding.
For two price and two dishes we paid around 55 Euros. Not expensive by Munich standard. Good...
Read moreWe had Dinner where the food was ok all though everything was spicy even though it was not specified in the menu to be. Then we asked for the check and the waitress brought the card reader to the table we added a tip and passed the card just after the waitress proceeded to explain that foreign credit cards meaning not German were not accepted by the card reader, we thought it was weird but decided to try with another card and passed it again to which the waitress said it still didn’t go through. Since our bank send us direct message every time the card is used we could se that the payment went through both times. My mom went up to the waitress explaining the situation and showing the payment to which she responded “this is not my restaurant” after a bit of complaining what I assume was the owner kindly returned the amount that was payed double by a wire transfer however when we were explaining the situation to him and referred to his college as “Fräulein” which I must say I have never have heard used as an insult, turned to us saying that she was not a “Fräulein” and that we shouldn’t start with her. Overall a disappointing experience the owners were nice enough but the service left much to be desired handling a...
Read moreI had been there twice before and it was good. We enjoyed a show and it was good times. Today I went to get some breakfast, got the eggs Benedict which to my surprise were only ONE egg. When pierced the egg with the fork water came out, a lot of water which wetted the bread and made everything very messy. I told the waiter the egg was full of water l, he took the plate to the kitchen and came back to tell me I should order something else if I didn’t want water inside my eggs. I told him I have had eggs Benedict plenty of times and this were not properly cooked. He blamed the kitchen and I asked for the check, I had one third of the bread and zero eggs. They didn’t own up to their mistakes, I paid the $17.90 for one inedible egg Benedict. It felt so wrong for me to pay the whole thing when it was not prepared right. I have been a waitress too and I think this is to blame on the cook but also the management could have done something like charging me a part of it as I didn’t eat my meal as it was not right. I am not going back to this place and you should avoid it as well. I ended up paying 37 euros and I am...
