I'm not gonna lie, they got a huge piece of art of Frida Kahlo hanging in their restaurant... she'd be doing backflips in her grave if she knew that she's being displayed in that place.... it's an absolute disrespect towards anything that stands for Mexico and its amazing, unique and delicious cuisine and a proper spit in the face for every Mexican out there. The ingredients are the cheapest REWE processed products, the Nachos are literally one solid piece held together by cheap toast cheese, the food is bland, the tacos are not even tacos, they're hard tortilla shells with huge cuts of veggies and canned salsa that tastes artificial and just bland, the servers don't even know what drinks they are selling (I ordered Pisco sour and recieved whiskey sour, upon addressing that, the server asked me what Pisco was despite it being on their menu lol)

If you want authentic Mexican food then this definitely ain't it.

However, if you wanna get hammered with mid tier cocktails during happy hour then the place may be worth a visit given the admittedly amazing ambiente... as long as you stay away from the food.

TLDR: Cheap, bland, overpriced convenience food disguised as "Mexican Cuisine" in a quite nice looking place with affordable happy hours.

Dear restaurant owners: Stop trying to take this down and take some responsibility... stop selling a faux product, at least TRY to replicate proper Mexican cuisine somewhat... Making Tortillas, carne and salsas from scratch is not...

We booked a table for a Friday night on the same day. When we turned up, roughly half of the tables were empty, but apparently reserved, that's why we were seated at a tiny table with high chairs, that was the only option. (Usually in other restaurants we would be offered to sit at a normal table but with a warning about the time limit. By the time we finished our meal, all those tables were still unoccupied, so I don't understand why we couldn't have been seated there.)

We ordered two drinks, two mains and an entree. The drinks appeared relatively quick, and after a fairly long wait one main appeared. My companion had to start eating it, so his meal didn't get cold. About 15 minutes later the second main and the entree finally made it to the table. The entree was nachos, and, to be honest, this was the worst we ever had. I believe these were just nachos from a bag, piled on a plate and microwaved with a couple of square cheese slices on top. The cheese didn't even melt completely (or it was a wrong type of cheese).

The mains (a schnitzel from the Special Offer menu and vegetable enchiladas) were mediocre at best.

The alcohol-free cocktail was priced exactly same as a standard one, which also is questionable.

We were hugely disappointed after the visit, and couldn't really understand the raving reviews. Shame, because originally we hoped we could be regulars...

As someone from Texas with a Mexican heritage, the food here was decently good. The flavors were all there where they needed to be and there was a good level of spice for the hot sauce. I would have loved some hotter options on the table. My biggest issue was with the tacos. They don't actually have tacos. The menu says they do but they have something that resembles a crunch bowl or a cabana bowl. And this was very disappointing. Not to mention it was on the same page as an excerpt about tex-mex culture. My husband had the Enchiladas and those too were not correct, those actually resembled more like tacos as they were not wrapped but a actually open like tacos. I feel like the authenticity is almost there but could be fine tuned a bit more. However, the vibes were all there. It really did feel like a Mexican cantina when you walk in. The decor, the music, the smells - all on point. Which is why I gave them the 4th star. I am highly critical about Mexican places in Munich because I don't believe there needs to be German modifications, if the food is good, the...

When I decided to dine in I thought it would be a Mexican restaurant, as it claim it is. It has indeed some Mexican dishes but they are not 100 percent Mexican or at least close to what it should be. We ordered a platter for 5 people, came with chicken fajitas, potato wedges, spring rolls and tortilla chips. The chicken fajitas didn't look at all like fajitas and I was wondering what the spring rolls had to do in a Mexican platter. The sauces were good. The cocktails we ordered were fine except for the daiquiri, in the menu it didn't say it was frozen and it was actually like slushy and I didn't taste much of the alcohol Among other "Mexican" dishes, they serve a wide range of everything.. Even Spätzle and Schnitzel The decoration was nice and the inside of the restaurant was nicely Mexican themed but honestly, I go to a Mexican restaurant hoping to find good and simple Mexican food and not pages and pages of every dish I can think of

I liked the live music and DJ playing music. Great to have a place like this in the north of Munich!
