Joie de vivre and yummy approved. I haven't been back to this place in the past 3 years and it used to be one of my favorite places in town. I am glad to see the same quality with a twist on the Mediterranean dishes they offer. Plus a very friendly and attentive service. I really like the music swing retro in the background. No hipsters alert. We came for a late lunch at 2:45pm and were happy that their kitchen was still open for warm food. Very good price offered for this dish we ordered from their menu for lunch on that day (11 € something): Spanish casserole with fish perfectly cooked in a tomatoe sauce with delightful spices, fried aubergines, potatoes bravas, some shrimps and mussels with aioli sauce, so nothing was smashed. Also the toilets are clean and charming. The place is located in a quiet street and time seems to be suspended here in a good way. They also have a small Biergarten to sit outside but as it was too chill to sit outside. I will come back.

Went there on Friday, 15th April around almost 5.30 pm after reading great reviews. Ordered bruschetta as a starter, a salad, grilled salmon with veggies, and some beverages. The bruschetta came almost right away, but the bread was so soggy. Then we had to wait for around 40 minutes to get the rest. The servers did not care to notice us waiting, bored, and annoyed. We tried to get their attention and were eventually served the rest of the food. The salad was just ok, and the salmon needed serious improvement. Clearly, we were extremely disappointed. I don't want to play the race card, but it might be worth mentioning that we were Asians. We were travelers, so maybe that's why we didn't get much of a good service we deserved. Also, the English menu obviously carries way fewer items than the original menu. Overall, a bad experience.

Located in Haidhausen, Preysingarten is one of the oldest restaurants/ inns in Munich. They have a relaxed atmosphere with a mix of Greek and German food with a wine, beer and cocktail selection. They have a large outdoor as well as indoor seating options. To drink, we enjoyed the Noam beer (unfiltered, lager) and the weissbeer. For mains, we ordered the soup of the day (vegetable cream) and a wiener schnitzel. The taste was about right (nothing to rave/ complain about!) with good portion sizes. The service was quick and friendly. A great option for a quiet afternoon/ evening. They also have a great breakfast menu.
