The wines were absolutely exceptional, some of the best ones we have ever had. The food, while good, felt not at the same standard.
In particular I didn't fully enjoy the filet in minestrone. In my mind it should have been the peak of the meal also because it had been presented with some sense of pride and instead for me it fell quite flat.
We found the staff to be extremely friendly. They offered spontaneously to hold the bottles of wine so that I could take pictures. Some of those bottles I plan to try to order for myself!
