Turning the old public toilet of Munich in a chic Japanese restaurant is not easy;) but here the work has been done in a fine way! Nice location, can’t imagine how nice will be in summer time with cool vibes and good music outside. But but but ….what is a restaurant without good food? What is a Japanese fine dining without fresh creative food! Shigerusan -the chef- is Japanese, and have lots of experience in his hands. Omakase menu is a jump in getting to know the bulbs of your tongue! The unexpected combination of delicate spices, and acrimonious flavor in combination with amazing row fisch. The salad that warms you up with a touch of truffle oil, and wait…I forgot the crispy starter serve on a plate of with stones…the food is all about exploring, exploding, expanding, joyful! But don’t leave without trying a slice of the gorgeous layered matcha cake homemade by the sweetest Japanese in town: Rena - the chef’s wife;) ….is a family thing;) And please get ready to be kindly served by Tristan…he knows which wines matches with the menu: of course! Get dress and get high! Thank you Shigeru and Rena...

Outstanding experience.

More that a chef, this cook is an artisan. An artist of the finest cuisine.

I ate the “Omakase” menu, and it was delicious. With the Matcha Mille Crêpes for desert, it was enough amount of food.

Every single nigiri was perfectly prepared and presented. The fish has its natural taste, something you don’t find in the usual sushi places. The “toro” was particularly tasty.

The dishes designed by the chef, more out of the box, were also very tasty. He plays with textures, tastes and colours and the result is great. I enjoy particularly the miso soup cappuccino.

Interesting selection of wines. Good Riesling and good sake, of course.

I highly recommend sitting at the counter to watch the...

We went to celebrate 10th anniversary. Really good atmosphere. Food was good, but disappointed for their service. Single waitress covers for 10+ tables. I’m sure she was trying but I felt rushed, like ordering in a busy bistro. I asked about what a specific food is and how it’s made, just short and quick answer without any explanation. I mean sushi was good but you find similar quality sushi other great places as well for much cheaper in Munich, so for this price range I would expect maybe better personalised service since it’s so much expensive than other places. I also felt bit of rudeness when we didn’t order Omakase menu😂 and felt serviced lesser as well. I hope they hire more people to fix this....
