Restaurant Keko — Restaurant in Munich

Keko Restaurant is a fantastic spot in Munich that offers a modern twist on traditional Turkish cuisine. My absolute favorite dish is the Dana Şiş Yoğurtlu – the tender beef skewers paired with creamy yogurt and flavorful tomato sauce are simply amazing. It’s a dish I’ll keep coming back for!

We also celebrated a birthday here, and the staff was incredible. They were friendly, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly, which added to the overall great experience.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual dinner or a celebratory gathering. The menu features a variety of Turkish classics reimagined with a contemporary touch, so there’s something unique for everyone to enjoy.

The only disappointment was the Adana Kebap, which tasted more like a regular köfte (meatball) rather than the spicy, flavorful Adana one...

We went there to the Turkish breakfast without any reservation but we were able to be seated. For the breakfast there is an open buffet and a rather small menu for eggs selection. Open buffet has a lot of options but I am not really convinced if it actually reflects the Turkish breakfast. We selected omelette with different flavours and also asked for a plate of tomato/cucumber as a side salad. The service was a bit delayed to be honest but the side dish had cheese, olives next to tomato/cucumber, more than we asked for. They also did not charge for it. Overall I’d say we had a good food with quite a fair of a price. However, I was hoping more of a Turkish breakfast, this was to me more like brunch you could get at any cafe. Delicious Turkish food in Munich! Picked this based on several Reddit threads. Slightly tucked away from the city central but very convenient to reach and worth the very small detour. Dinner service on a Monday evening 7pm was totally full indoors. There is outdoor seating as well but it was chilly that day so everyone was inside. I got the lamb fillet special and husband got the cubed lamb with eggplant and tomato sauce. Both were divine. Could have been a little spicier, but that’s personal preference. 10/10 recommend.
