Umami — Restaurant in Munich

food was very good and that is the most important thing. the place is very small and i think dining there is not very optimal. would have made more sense to have like a little bar, maybe in the shape of the U next to the three walls at the corner where the tables are now. like this people would be with the back to each other and not disturb each other. i don’t think this place has the right space for big tables for 4 people and so on. also the food is rather vietnamese and not japanese. but again, food was good. the waiter though a bit distracted and we received different combinations to what we ordered, e.g shrimps instead of chicken, or vegeterian instead of chicken. but since everything was delicious anyway, no complain here. this is just a suggestion to the waiter. and he was able speak very well german, no accent at all, so i don’t think there was a language barrier. the man behind the bar and the women who cooked were very very nice. overall a place to visit often. this is a new place so it is understandable to have small problems in the beginning. i am happy this place exists in the neighborhood now. i hope it keeps the high standard for...
