The restaurant provides a distinctive dining setting next to a deer park where you can observe the animals in their natural habitat. You can opt to sit near the fence for a closer look at the deer, though be aware that there might be a slight odor. Alternatively, for a different experience, you can choose to dine indoors or find a spot at the far end of the expansive beer garden, which is spacious enough to accommodate guests even during peak summer times.
The restaurant is quite large and offers a diverse menu with tasty food and an excellent range of beers and other drinks. In the warmer months, you can dine al fresco and even bring your own picnic with a tablecloth, while simply purchasing drinks at the venue. In winter, the establishment features ice rinks for German curling, adding a fun seasonal activity.
On the downside, the service could use some improvement. There have been occasions where the staff seemed inattentive, and there were occasional issues with the billing.
In summary, the unique setting and enjoyable activities, along with good food and beverages, make [Restaurant Name] a worthwhile visit. However, the service aspects are worth noting for...
Read moreVery nice traditional Bavarian restaurant, the guy who served us was nice too but one star because of the behaviour of two other waiters. So I reserved the table there so I could take my French colleagues who were in town ao they could enjoy the traditional atmosphere everything was fine, but two waiters who were not German because they were speaking a different language, constantly looked at our table and spoke aggressively in an unpleasant way, I just stood up went straight to one of the guys if he has a problem with me or the table he should say it to my face and he called the other one who was the main culprit, I asked him if he has problem with me or our table, he didn't expect that and did not have an answer he instead pointed at the boss to speak and kind of rushed off, then I spoke to the boss who was the one who served us, the boss was super nice and said everything is fine and we can stay for how much ever we want and drink. I don't know why restaurants would employ certain groups as waiters who do not have the common courtesy to be nice to people who pay money for their food and drinks, remember how covid reminded how important customers are, dont...
Read moreWent late in the evening, 1900 (7pm). Walked to the seater and asked to sit outside because it was a pleasant day even during the evening. However, we were sat inside and pretty much the furtherest place away from everything. It was us and another group of younger women in the entire section. I had the meatballs and potato salad to eat, the salad was okay (about as good as store bought), and the meatballs were worse than prepackaged store bought. The beer was pretty standard, so major knocks there. But the ambiance of the hall reminded me of chain restaurants in the US.
Food service was quick, but overall service was only average. Beer was pretty standard, good, but (from what I could tell) not anything that I couldn't get at another place in Munich that might have been more welcoming.
It wasn't worth the trip, overpriced, reheated food (probably microwaved from how quick it came out), zero ambiance and unpersponable staff. It seems to be riding on the fact that they are the biggest brew house in Munich, but if Gordon Ramsey as still.doing Kitchen Nightmares I'd recommend he go here...
