Zur Steinhauser Einkehr — Restaurant in Munich

Just wow! I am staying nearby at arabellapark and was looking for a place for a beer (or two) and some good German food. This place delivers. It's what would be called where I am a "hole in the wall" which has its risks, but there is no risk here, this place is just amazing! The service was great. The woman who helped me (she is in the picture) didnt speak English, but was somehow more friendly and relatable than servers where I'm from... If she serves you, then you know it is a good time ahead! The schnitzel was the best I have had in 2 years of coming to Germany. I have another week in town and already I am telling my friends coming in that we are coming back at least once! Oh, this is how I know it's really good... There is a table of German friends that just grew the whole time I stayed, so my feeling of it being a good local place was verified.

It threw me off walking here where to go and how to get here (hint- turn right when you enter, I wondered around and probably looked like a mad man trying to find the restaurant), but when you do get your bearings, grab a beer, get some food, have great service and realize this is all at a price that makes most other restaurants look greedy....

We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to give it a go. A great decision. A super friendly atmosphere and delicious food at a very reasonable price. We enjoyed watching a group of 10 people dancing traditional dances as someone played an accordion. A lively and friendly bunch that made our dining experience all the more positive. Cannot recommend this...

Wir wohnten im HYPERION und sind zum Mittagessen hier eingekehrt. Das Lokal wirkt bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, nebenan sind Schrebergärten. Es wirkt auf den ersten Blick wie ein Kiosk auf dem Campingplatz 😁 Es gibt keine Speisekarten, nur 2 handschriftliche Tafeln mit einer Handvoll verschiedener Gerichte. Wir hatten schon fast mit lausigen Fertiggerichten gerechnet, aber das Cordonbleu mit Speck und Obatztn gefüllt war handgemacht und echt lecker und hat uns mal wieder gelernt, man sollte sich nicht vom äußeren täuschen lassen 😌 Die Wirtin, war super freundlich 👍 Ich fands total OK, wenn man Hotelgast ist und in der unmittelbaren Nähe etwas zu...
