Way to go by editing or changing public responses to honest customer review… I just want to make aware that this was an original response to my friends review.
This kind of response and rudeness was provided face-to-face. So if this is the response to our review, you can imagine the poor treatment we received, the lack of professionalism, and the unkindness of the service offered. Honestly, I have never been treated so badly in my whole life. I had a four-year-old with me, and we were ordering as we consumed because we were not provided with the necessary napkins and forks. Being three people, we needed to ask for more. We’ve been great clients. We ordered main dishes, coffees, and then, as dessert, we ordered two cakes. We went directly to the counter ourselves to avoid the unprofessional, rude, and unkind waiters from returning to our table with hysterical expressions. But honestly, that was the last response I was expecting. Of course, I won’t be back, and I am so sorry that you take the liberty to respond this way to clients. And of course, a four-year-old can be loud, and that’s why we were seated in the last corner of the terrace. But he behaved so nicely that I do not tolerate you responding like this and speaking to us in such a disrespectful manner. I wish you luck, but we certainly won’t be...
Read moreSo far I've gone twice for coffee and both times the taste was excellent. The reason for the reduced stars is service related. Never have I waited so long for coffee in my life(both times). There is no urgency whether taking the coffee to go or staying to drink there.
It is way too pricey for the speed of service.
Big city prices with little village service
Saturday at the market Cafe Kley has a hefty line (20+)and you get your coffee faster than when there is literally 5 people at D+M.
Great potential, but not there yet.
Edit/ repsonse to owner .
Criticism is part of growing. It's okay to be defensive, but if you do nothing with it you can continue to be slow.
I work around the corner from your shop, so yes I'm sure it is in fact your establishment.
If you reread my statment I said a line of 20 people vs 5 people at your place...still referencing customers not staff.
Flat white 3,60€ + 40 plant milk = Munich pricing
In little villages when there is one person doing many duties and they are accustomed to very few customers at one time a longer wait is acceptable. Visible staff both times I visited were minimum 3(2 servers and one barista) and the customer count was less than 10.
It would be more gracious to say "thanks for complimenting the taste" and "we are working on our...
Read moreLeft with a bittersweet taste. As a foreign visitor in this lovely city, we sought a nice spot to eat and work. We checked both the webpage and the menu for kitchen closing times and, seeing none, made a reservation for 2 PM. Upon arrival, we were informed that the kitchen had just closed, leaving only cakes available.
We still both ordered coffee, cake, and lemonade, and began working on our laptops, hoping for a great experience. The staff saw us working on laptops before bringing our food but only informed us of their unwritten rule against laptops at tables after we had started eating. They mentioned there was one table where laptops were allowed, but it was occupied.
We came to this highly recommended cafe to get a bit of urgent work done, but because we couldn’t this left us rushing our food and leaving. While the cake and drinks were good, the experience was disappointing. The staff's gossiping (they were unaware we understand a bit of German) and the atmosphere did not live up to the reviews. Sadly, we won't return on our next...
