It is indeed nice to have a place to go to for some choices from Southern Indian cuisine. The food is freshly prepared, tasting authentic in reasonable portion size. The service is quite nice and the ambiance is great. If I were to be critical, just one point - please, bring the food piping hot, steaming hot and not lukewarm. Maybe the plates and cutleries could be placed in a warmer to keep the food hotter for a longer duration. Also, the range on the menu can be easily widened with simple addition of some items like - masala vada, thayir vadai, sambar vadai, adai and a simple venpongal. I am sure this will attract more customers. A second serving of accompaniments (sambhar or chutney) at a small price would not hurt...

Leider entsprach der Service nicht dem gleichen Niveau. Auf der Speisekarte war zum Beispiel Samosa aufgeführt, allerdings gab es keine Samosa, was etwas verwirrend war.

Die vegetarischen Optionen sind recht begrenzt und beinhalten alle Reismehl. Ich hatte gefragt, ob man stattdessen Basmati-Reis bekommen könnte. Zunächst wurde das abgelehnt, aber nachdem ich darum bat, in der Küche nachzufragen, war es dann doch möglich – was ich sehr geschätzt habe.

Auf der Karte stehen außerdem Gerichte wie Biryani Chicken und Biryani Lamm, bei denen das Fleisch separat serviert wird. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn man mir die Möglichkeit angeboten hätte, diese auch ohne Fleisch zu bestellen – auch zum gleichen Preis. Für mich wäre das absolut in Ordnung gewesen, solange es vegetarische Alternativen gibt.

Die Bedienung wirkte jedoch wenig aufmerksam und wenig motiviert. In ruhigen Momenten schaute sie häufig auf ihr Handy und lachte, was leider keinen sehr professionellen Eindruck machte.

Insgesamt ein kulinarisch überzeugendes Erlebnis, bei dem jedoch der Service und das Angebot für Vegetarier noch verbessert...
