Our daughter got married at Schloss Neuburg in October 2022. We had over 100 guests in town for the wedding, and we filled up four separate hotels in Neuburg. Die Aussicht Hotel was by far the nicest hotel that any or our guests stayed at in Neuburg! The hotel is located right in the middle of town, and it is less than a five-minute walk to the Neuburg Castle. The hotel rooms at the Aussicht are all very nice. Some of the hotel rooms, as well as the hotel restaurant and veranda, have an incredible view of the Danube (Donau) river. For anyone staying in Neuburg, Die Aussicht must be your first choice!||||Also, Michael Pantner and his team at the Aussicht were the caterers for our daughter's wedding, and they did a great job! The food was amazing. The service was very friendly and accommodating. They made certain that we had everything we needed for the wedding. The catering service provided by the Aussicht was the definition of Gemütlichkeit! ||||Finally, going above and beyond the call of duty, Michael Pantner helped us get all our guests and their luggage from Neuburg to Munich after the wedding. And then somehow -- magically -- Michael Pantner arranged to get my daughter, her new husband, and myself on the center stage of the Fischer-Vroni tent at the Wiesn to sing "Take Me Home Country Road" to a crowd of 5,000 people on the last night of Oktoberfest! Freitag Abend angekommen, sofort ins Zimmer im 2. Stock. In diesem Zimmer waren gleich Fliegen überall (so kleine). Auch ist das Wasser im Bad nicht abgelaufen. Sofort Bescheid gegeben und dann wurden wir (3) getrennt. Einer in ein ärmlicheres Doppelzimmer (aber mit schön großem Bad). Wir beide also in die große Suite. Dort dieses mal keine Fliegen und eigentlich alles soweit ok. Das Bad ist eher klein und schlank gehalten. Aber vollkommen OK, schicke Dusche mit Waschbecken und Klo. Im Zimmer sind leider keine normalen Kissen, sondern komische Sandgefüllte. Komisch, ich kam nicht zurecht mit diesen und habe diese dann entfernt. Fernseher ein (ca) 40" Telefunken Modell mit 3x HDMI. Perfekt für einen Serienabend. Auch gab es ein keinen unserer 3 Zimmer (also das 1. mit den Fliegen) einen Blick auf die Donau. Nur auf die Straße. In der Nacht war es aber leise.

Das Essen muss man sagen ist einfach Abzocke. Frühstück kostet Extra (das Zimmer ist teuer genug!). Beim Frühstück gibt es Wurscht, Müsli, Saft,... Auf Frage nach Nutella wurde mir nur ein Billig Abklatsch "Sumba" (oder ähnlich) geliefert. Das hat einfach zum Kotzen geschmeckt! Die Marmelade sah aber lecker aus und hat auch dementsprechend geschmeckt.

Das Abendessen ist einfach nur Dreck! Ein Steak für 32€ wurde kalt an den Tisch gebracht. Beim 2. mal Aufwärmen war es lauwarm. Auch wurde es "blutrot" bestellt. Gekommen ist es halb durch. Allem im allem war es ganz ok. Der Burger war auch ganz ok. Das Fleisch (Rinderhack) war zwar fast roh, aber essbar. Hingegen die Soße und der Rukula war widerwärtig. Die Pommes dazu waren aus Kartoffelpulver. Ganz ok, aber bei dem Preis (ich glaube fast 20€) eher schlecht. Die Cola war billiger als das Wasser (3€/0.4l). Das einzige Wasser, dass es gab war irgendein Nobelwasser mit "P" für 6€/0.75l. "Normales" Wasser gab es nicht (bzw. für einen vernünftigen Preis).

Das Personal war aber freundlich und halt immer geholfen, wenn man was gebraucht hat. Das WLAN war mit 10Mbit zwar nicht sonderlich schnell, aber akzeptabel. VPN, SSH haben funktioniert und auf Portblocking wurde verzichtet.

Preislich fand ich es schlecht. Wir haben 130€/2 Personen. Das Zustellbett hat 10€ gekostet. Beim Frühstück wurde auch mit 10€/Person und Tag abgezockt. In München war ich neulich in einem sehr modernen und eher luxeriösem Hotel für 129€/Nacht für 2 Personen mit Frühstück. Dafür das Neuburg an der Donau irgendwo im Nirgendwo liegt, finde ich es viel zu teuer. München war besser und billiger.
