Tafelspitz & Söhne — Restaurant in Offenbach am Main

My favorite place in Offenbach. Everytime some of my friends or family visits me - I take them there. The food is German and incredibly good. The prices are super-nice for such high quality. They also have a weekend breakfast-offer which goes till 14pm (!). So everyone who is a late-bird or just has a hangover would be really happy with that. I, personaly, go there very often. People who work there are super nice and always ready to help. If you want to go there in the evening - better give them a call and book a table as that place is popular. Highly recommend to visit 🙌 would've gave 6 stars if I could.

This was my second time visiting this restaurant. Authentic and testy German food. Complementary bread was very dry, not well preserved had it been baked earlier in the day. Not going to take off a star for this as it came for free, but I always expect well baked bread/rolls to be served at any German restaurant in Germany, even it comes as a complementary. Hummus was great. Sliced sourdough served with the Hummus was done right, it was excellent. Hacksteak was superb..!!! The minced meatball was tender and juicy; very well cooked. Atmosphere was great given nice weather. I was lucky that there weren‘t too many...

If you like to sit in a place to chat and drink and spontaneously eat something tasty, well this is a good place. Very good portions for a fair price. They offer good soups too with good baguette or German bread. I recommend you to try the filled paprika and rice, just out of this world. Their dishes are nice presented. They offer a very nice peppermint and ginger tea, all natural stuff. Friendly place to spend time alone, in couple or with friends. I guess you can seat outside in the Sommer time but the view to the parking lot it's not the best....
