I went to this Chinese restaurant with my friends for dinner. The place is kinda small, but the vibe is cozy. The staff wasn't exactly the friendliest, but they did give us some free kimchi and salad. We ordered kimchi, veggie noodles, and crispy duck in soy sauce with sprouts. The kimchi was bomb, with a sweet, spicy, and sour flavor. The noodles were delish, and the crispy duck was on point. The portions were pretty generous for the price. But here's the thing, they wouldn't let us take our leftovers home. They said it's their policy or something. I don't get it, man. We ended up wasting so much food. Amazing food, since I am in Germany this is the closest I have eaten to the real Chinese cuisine. Noodles are handmade amazing texture just the right amount of chewiness. If anyone knows the hand stretched noodles from China these are the same texture, chewiness and taste. We had the beef ramen and the vegetarian one, we got an extra appetizer with specific Chinese bread and pickled vegetable + (kimchi). If you are in Paderborn this is the place to go for some traditional Chinese lamian (ramen). The owner are also originally from China very open and chatty. Wir wollten spontan mal wieder abends asiatisch essen gehen. Also lange gegoogelt, Rezessionen gelesen und immer wieder beim ChiHot gelandet. Aber wir wollten definitiv nicht den Imbissstyle sondern schon eher ein Restaurant. Leider waren im Internet vorwiegend Fotos vom Essen und wenige vom Gastraum...Naja Tisch für 3 und 18:00 Uhr bestellt. Pünktlich im ChiHot angekommen und etwas enttäuscht gewesen, weil es doch schon eher wie ein Imbiss war. Die Aufnahme unserer Bestellung dauerte etwas, aber danach lief alles echt zackig, auch bei den übrigen anwesenden und kommenden Gästen. Ich hatte gebratene Nudeln mit Hühnerfleisch in Erdnusssauce. Das Essen schwamm förmlich in der Sauce und je näher man dem Tellerboden kam, schmeckte es leicht angebrannt...schade denn eigentlich ein leckeres Gericht.
