I got the impression that drinking groups of men are being overcharged here. The prices put Hops in the same category as a table dance bar, except there are no dancers. When the bill came for our table, the adjacent table was on it, too "by accident". The sober drivers on our table knew, that there were rounds on our bill that nobody had ordered, but the barman did not admit to any mistake. Brilliant night out in the bar with a great barman. He knew his product, looked after us very well and the whole night was very friendly with the locals being very welcoming and chatty. The barman certainly knew his products and gave us several sample for us to sample. Some unusual beers that I wouldn't normally go for but the samples sold them to me. Gute Idee, schöner Laden, jedoch sollte man aufpassen. Ein "Bierbotschafter" der Bar empfal uns ein Bier von einem "befreundeten" Brauer, welches zum einen nicht so günstig und so lecker war, aber zum anderen vor allem zwei Tage später ablief. Die noch etwas ausführlicher ausgestaltete Story vom "befreundeten" Brauer scheint also mehr ausgedacht als wahr und diente offenbar nur zum Abverkauf.

Nachtrag nach Reaktion des Inhabers: Ich kann das natürlich nicht beweisen, jedoch drängte sich dieser Eindruck etwas auf. Wenn es sich lediglich um einen Zufall handelt, nehme ich die Kritik zurück. Der Besuch fand bereits am 4. März statt und es handelte sich um das Bier "Langstreckenrakte 2.0". Geschmack und Preis sind natürlich subjektiv, sind jedoch auch nicht wirklich Teil meiner Kritik. Und ich bin natürlich nicht der Meinung, dass man Lebensmittel vor dem Ablauf des MHD's wegschmeißen sollte. Einen Hinweis darauf hätte ich nur nett gefunden (nach dem Motto: Ich hab noch nen super Bier, dass ist nur nicht mehr solange haltbar und es wäre schade es nach dem Wochenende...
