Very bad service, we called 3 times to reserve a place but when we went there they had no place and they said we had to wait 30 minutes even tho we called in the morning and we went around 8 in the night and they were so rude to us saying that we reserved in a bad time. And the waitress/waitresses were judging us alot and we were just standing and they said us to move even tho there was so much space to cross and they were shouting at us like we were there enemies or something. I don't recommend anyone to go there, you will get really mistreated and they bring the food really late or they will get your order wrong or most of the times they bring the food cold as if they toke it out of the fridge and served it to you. And when we called they didn't even take reservation name and they said we will know but when we went they didn't believe that we reserved and they kept on asking and asking even tho we said that we called in the morning and want our seat bur they still suspected. I have been in their restaurant couple of times and was happy. This time I tried ordering food to home. Just called their number from google. They picked up the phone right away and everything was easy. In 30 mins, food was home, well packed. The food i ordered were Döner Überbacken and brocolli Auflauf. First of all, Döner Überbacken was tasty like every time, but there was a burnt/smoke flavour (which is not in usual case). Brocolli Auflauf was average, there were more tomatoes than broccoli 😂. In short, being a non vegetarian i would like to visit here again as the food is tasty and cheap. For vegetarian, there is falafel which is just ok, Auflauf's and Pizza (i haven't tried this). Letzten Sonntag fanden wir uns nach einem vergnüglichen Tag auf dem Spielplatz "Maspernplatz" mit wachsendem Hunger wieder. Auf der Suche nach einem geeigneten Ort für unser Mittagessen, entschieden wir uns für das Restaurant Haci Baba. Hier wurden wir nicht nur herzlich empfangen, sondern auch direkt in die authentische Welt der türkischen Küche entführt.

Das Essen, eine beeindruckende Mischung aus Geschmack und Quantität, hat uns restlos begeistert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass das Fleisch auf einem Holzkohlegrill direkt vor unseren Augen zubereitet wurde – ein echtes Highlight für Liebhaber türkischer Gerichte. Meine Frau und ich entschieden uns für die Haci Baba Platte für zwei – eine reichhaltige Auswahl an Grillfleisch inklusive Hähnchen, Lamm und Döner, begleitet von knusprigem Brot, frischem Salat und Reis. Unsere Tochter wählte eine Gyrospizza, die sie begeisterte. Dazu genossen wir alle einen traditionellen türkischen "Chai".

Die Wartezeit auf unser Essen war erstaunlich kurz, und die Qualität sowie die Menge der Speisen übertrafen unsere Erwartungen. Besonders beeindruckend war, dass das Fleisch auf einem Holzkohlegrill direkt vor unseren Augen zubereitet wurde, ein Erlebnis, das nicht nur den Appetit anregt, sondern auch das Warten verkürzt.

Das Ambiente im Haci Baba ist modern und einladend gestaltet. Im Sommer bietet das Restaurant die Möglichkeit, draußen zu sitzen und das Essen in der Sonne zu genießen. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die Parkplatzsituation in der Nähe – diese kann besonders an Werktagen herausfordernd sein. Am Sonntag jedoch ist das Parken am Maspernplatz kostenlos, was eine kleine Erleichterung darstellt.
