Ate here last night (update, compatriots loved it too...like four nights now lol) Very short walk from the hotel, prices were very reasonable, and the interior is very nice and we'll kept. We were the only party in there, which I felt was strange, as everyone enjoyed their meals and beer, and the staff was quite friendly and helpful. The menu is quite varied, which is great for a group.
Perhaps because this isn't right on the main street it wasn't busier, but so far I've liked it more than other restaurants in town. The only thing they could improve on would be better attention to the patrons. Beer glasses would be empty and sit for quite some time before being asked if more was wanted...just something for the staff to work on a bit. If you got their attention they would immediately come over. Perhaps it's a cultural thing? :)

Read moreThe last time we came in, there was only one table of people and the place was empty otherwise for dinner. We placed our orders, and we waited for over an hour for our food to come out. During our wait, a family came in, ordered, ate and left before we ever got our food. My son (5 years old) was nearly in tears waiting so long to eat as he was so hungry. We didn’t get a courtesy of having anything given to us for free or even a discount for the ridiculous and unacceptable wait time. My husband’s dinner took the longest- he waited 75 minutes for his food- but was seriously such a simple dish. No excuse for that. The rest of us had pasta, and from my own experience of making pasta at home, it takes way less than an hour to throw together some spaghetti! We won’t be going back to this...
Read moreGreat little restaurant! Waitresses are very friendly and the chef does a great job with the food. Located in the middle of town, it was only a short walk from out hotel and the food is reasonably priced. You won't find Cevapcici and Ayvar at many other restaurants and it's a dish I remembered and enjoyed when I visited Slovenia and the Czech Republic. For those who don't appreciate the Baltic cuisine, my kids enjoyed their Jägerschnitzel and Cordon Bleu as well. My wife also enjoyed her salad with turkey, and the side salads that come with the meals are simple but delicious. Highly recommended to stop in if you're...
